  • When the Beatles cross the street, it looks not ridiculous at all

  • i wonder how many people have taken pics there ?

that would make a great CD cover for any band to this day, no ? :)

  • I live in Vladivostok (Russia). This video - fantastika!

  • If I were a local I would so be blowing my horn up the ass of every person that blocked traffic doing that shit.

  • lets not forget the great pink floyd

  • home to pink floyd as well

  • Poor drivers. I bet most take detours if they can...

  • I think someone should remove or paint over the damn thing!

  • It must be so annoying to have to go over that road every day xD

  • Does ANYBODY walk over that crossing sensibly?

  • @marksoutof10 Actually a mother with buggy does. ;-) Probably lives there.

  • @Daaaaluis your an idiot that is a beatles song

  • @Daaaluis your an idiot that is a beatles song

  • why didnt they put a beatles song? wasnt it better for this video? i meanm this song its perfect but come on, its about the BEATLES...

  • @DaaaaLuis Actually, it's about a pedesrian road crossing in north-west London.

  • Цікава.

  • the fuck is with the arm swinging. Paul was smokings, obviously casj people

  • Nobody was doing it right.

  • 1:32 yo haria lo que el hizo xD

  • 0:54 Mick Hucknall.

  • in order to get a great snapshot I think people should bring a step ladder and early in the morning

  • Skip to 1:40 For WTTF?!? Moment :P

  • After more than 40 years, they still drive on the wrong side of the road there

  • good chillazin song... im going to play it on the radio today...

  • i only have one question, what are the zig-zag lines for and how come you dont see them on the album cover?

  • @silentavengerIV The zig -zag lines are for all the people that walk out of the pubs all hammered up.They make it appear that they are walking straight.

  • @silentavengerIV now i'll say it seriously... they were made after the album... for a "danger" area so the people take care of that part, as well as the lights around it... so people can see it and don't run over people.

  • Kudos to the guy who dropped his pants at 1:34

  • @kagomie hahaha at least he was original !

  • imagine the people who drive to work everyday and past tht lmfao they must be late

  • ok now you're just being weird . Did your stepdad molest you ? coz you can't take praise . Not going to insult you either . flatline . deal with it .

  • best road evaaaaaa

  • @EverythingJackass that's not really true is it? The Beatles did most of their best work at Abbey Road. That's why it's famous as well.

  • lol those drivers are on the wrong side :P

  • @ACEAbridged The CORRECT side of the road !

  • @richimorton - True. Most people are right-handed. Safer to have right-hand drive, with right hand on steering wheel, and left hand for gear changes, than left hand on steering wheel and right hand for gear changes.

  • @mtflesruoytsacdaorb - OMG - WOW ! . . . I was just being facetious , but you know what ? You have won the argument for right hand drive hands down (geddit) ! Whenever i have had the misfortune to drive American or European cars it has just felt so wrong !

  • @mtflesruoytsacdaorb Not necessarily driving on the right (although roundabouts seem wrong too ) but changing gear while steering just seems so awkward ! This does not change with practice . Maybe this is why all American cars are Automatic & they have no roundabouts !!!!

Wow what a revelation - thank you so much !

  • @richimorton - AND they also have NO traffic lights. It's done with braking. All the traffic lights in American movies are CGI, using images from the UK and old footage from Sweden from before 1967 (the year they changed sides). Please, don't thank me again.

  • and this is in england or one of its colonies like america right?

  • What the hell are those zigzag lines all over the road, looks like a drivers ed course

  • @Sanjizzay the zigzag lines run in both directions away from a crossing and they mean 'do not park here'. you can not park either side of a crossing, and the zigzag lines are there to tell you that, this is so approaching drivers can see if someone is about to step onto the crossing. if vehicles could park right by the crossing, approaching drivers would not see pedestrians stepping off the curb to cross the road and could hit them. if you park on the zigzags you get points on your licence.

  • @Sanjizzay you can not park in the zigzags

  • Everytime a car gets closer, I think the pedistrians are going to get hit.

    What a disappointment.

  • lmao

this video kind of funny because its so bad :P

i would be pissed if i lived there

and most of the people are walking like they're nazi soldiers or something ?

  • @allacazzip123

I live yards from he crossing. No one gets annoyed at the people walking over the crossing. We all stop our cars and allow them to take photos.

It does show the intensity of tourists, even in winter at 9:00 p.m. you see them. At times there are over a hundred around the crossing and studio. We do not complain. They do no harm. glad to have them. Please come.

BTW, there are no tourist shops or the likes, so no one is making money from it.

  • epic

  • They are breaking the law by doing that.

There should be signs pointing this out.

  • @Clintonio1 Lol, About what? Walking across? Or Video taping?

  • @Standrew777 It's illegal to intentionally stop traffic in that way. You must finish crossing after starting without purposely holding up traffic.

  • @AmoonaX3 but this cross walk has just been named a Landmark, people allways walk across to see how it felt to be One of the Beatles, and everyone driving on that street knows that people walk accross, and i think there is a sign for cars saying something about "Take caution, crosswalk" But if it was just some other street, it WOULD Be Illegal.

  • @Standrew777 It wouldn't say "crosswalk", unless British sign writiers had started using Americanisms.

  • 1:30 lol

  • sheeple

  • those drivers must be pissed

  • Who are the Beatles ?

  • @chunkyslink Lol, good one. you really had me there "who are the Beatles". lol, classic. i know that you know who the Beatles are. everyone knows who the beatles are, if you really dont know who the beatles are then you must be 4 years old or something.

  • @chunkyslink Dude you better be kidding O_o

  • Why does that man pull down his pants?

  • @cal101188 There is a live camera stream in that direction on the abbey road website. He was probably flashing it.

  • i'd hate/love to have to drive by that rode

  • I'd be pissed if I had to drive by that spot every day on the way to work.

  • @ssmitherss717 Heh, I drive down abbey road everyday for around 6 months of summer each year. gets old.

  • Sucks to have to drive through there each day.. :l

  • 1:26 the fuck is that?

  • @gamalieljs Hitler march

  • Any normal people across this street a day?

  • You can watch this happening all the time on the website: earthcam.com. Just search for Abbey Rd. It happens all day long, every day. Most of the traffic is quite patient, except for the occasional honking car. The people are really bold, and walk right out in front of moving traffic. There's too much traffic to get far away enough for a great picture. When the Beatles's did it, I'm sure they blocked off the traffic, and they only shot 6 pictures-nothing by today's standards.

  • WTF AT 1:34

  • I was there on my own and the woman who took my photo wouldn't do it from the middle of the street even if I did it for her :(

  • i wonder how many locals just said "fuck it, im so sick and tired of stopping everytimei come thru here"

  • I want to go there so bad!!! :( I'm a huge Beatles fan!! -3

  • I'm going to London in May. I HAVE to walk across this road.

  • LEAVE RINGO ALONE!!!! HE'S A HUMAAAAN!!!!

  • don't blame ringo XD

  • Im stealin that damn sign

  • @scooterdude1945They had the same problem on Penny Lane, people stealing thier street signs. Eventualy they just painted the names of the streets on the sides of buildings!!! lol

  • @PorterzX2FIW Yeah I kno i was actually going to break the breaks out of penny lanes

  • I walked across it and i felt like a god!

  • sickest video! :)

  • Btw the position where the camera is...

Its on like a little island type thingy... like a little mini block sorta thing..

It has a statue on it if I remember correctly.

  • I walked that road... And my name is on that white fence/wall thingy in the background =D

  • if the beatles didnt do

    the album

cover this would just be another road

  • 1:33 BAHAHAHAHAHAaaaa

  • what band could take something so simple like crossing a street and make it legendary? THE BEATLES THATS WHO !!!

  • now tell me, which other band could do that? haha

  • Many people are taking the photo way too close to the subjects crossing and at the subjects chest level. All that will be seen is their torso and trees behind them, not the Abbey Road crossing. The proper photo is taking from an elevated position further back so as to see the crossing as well as the receding street. To compensate the photographer should be standing further back.

  • @USTUBE4000 Yeah, this is true, to get the best shot you'd really want a step ladder or a box to stand on. But it's a very busy street and the average London driver is not known for his/her tolerance and understanding of pedestrian needs, let alone tourists wanting to get a snapshot!

  • Nicely done! :D

  • at 2:43 thats the closest anyone had gotten that whole day

  • lol! 1:33

  • I did this, and I was in the London times for it, on Saturday... Abbey Road studios was getting sold the next day, so there was a photographer there. Luckily a photo of me and my classmates got into the paper =D We were on a school trip from NYC btw.

  • fucking tourists

  • Instead of mimicking the Beatles' crossing, some of them seem to mimick Genesis' walk from I Can't Dance!!!

  • If you can't wait for 10 seconds for someone to take a memorable photo then you can fuck off.

  • LOL at the man who pulls his pants down at 1:33

  • 01:33 WUT??????????

  • i'll be there... someday ^^

  • @danieru1979 I`ve been there.. Sunday ^^

  • lol wtf 1:35 wat was he thinking

  • sooo cool i lovee it

  • Its amusing to read the posts below this link. Abbey Road is one of the most famous roads in the world, it brings thousands of tourists to the area whom spend the hard earnt money in your local businesses... yet people complain that 'tourists' (lets face it the locals have done the same at some point whilst crossing Abbey Road) are disrupting locals travel to and from work... perhaps an alternative route or a move away from the area would be a good idea or you could just see the sunshine in life

  • i would take my shoes off and walk xD

  • I wonder if Paul McCartney or RIngo Starr ever pass by this road and go" Wow...what have we done?"

  • what is the name of the song?

  • why are they walking like that?

thats not how The Beatles looked like in their picture of Abbey Road.

  • @germino777 ha, yeah ive seen that album cover so many times that once i got bored and started walking like them and one of my friends said something like, "Are you walking like the Beatles on Abbey Road?" and she doesnt even like them, and they werent walking like them...

  • Was home to Pink Floyd as well not just The Beatles that why paul and david are mates

  • @germino777

Reminds me of the Charlies Angel pose. Originally, a "karate" pose, the middle holding a rifle with one hand, and the last holding a revolver with one hand.

The imitators all three have two hands on an imaginary pistol. Idiots.

  • @germino777 They don't know that. Fucking tourists.

  • Comment removed

  • @germino777 They're being creative why are be such a square man? In plus it's Abbey Road everyone does their own poses.

  • @germino777 for the same reason people run up thr steps of the Philadelphia city Hall like they do in Rocky

  • i live a few minutes away from here and i can tell you that the video does NOT include the hooting cars from angry drivers!

  • look at all these losers, WOW

  • Dont like the name 'BlameRingo" Ringo was, and still is Iconic as the other Beatles. He is my favorite.

  • @MAIJORproductions your favourite hahahah, shut up dont talk shit

  • @wheredoyougetoff1 No dude. Ringo was as essential as any other Beatle. I wasnt even talking shit. Pay attention.

  • if i ever go there i would not do that shit

  • noone does it bare-foot though!

  • There's a webpage somewhere dedicated to all the Abbey Road fatalities caused by people doing the Beatles walk... one picture is particularly disturbing - - a guy wearing a Sgt Pepper jacket with his head crushed flat. That one nearly ruined my breakfast....

  • @jzerony I found no such site dedicated to abbey road fatalities.

  • @Vindicut I can't remember exactly... but it was something like AppleCorpse(dot)com - or something of that nature....

  • @jzerony

    holy crap...

  • I live in Abbey Road - the flats just down from the crossing. The locals don't get annoyed - why should we it doesn't really affect us anymore than a 'normal' zebra crossing would - which to say is zilch. As for drivers getting annoyed, its what, an additional 7-8 seconds out of their dreary drive..

  • People that drive through that avenue and have to stop when someone is taking a picture must be pretty annoyed ahahaah when i get to go there id do it though xD going there and not taking a picture would be inexcusable.

  • no hay accidentes?

  • I just wasted 2 minutes of my life on this... And now I'm wasting half a minute more on typing this comment.

    GEE THANKS RINGO!

  • 1:36 rolf

  • does anyone know where to find the lyrics to this?

  • @ramerosky13 check the bands website they will have a contact email. im sure they'd send you a copy of the lyrics? or listen really really hard and work them out?

  • 1:33 there should be a caption "ABBEY ROAD....you're doing it wrong" xD

  • 1:34 lmfao wtf is he doing???

  • CI HO CAMMINATO IERI...UAOOO!!!

  • sorry, wrong number. I meant lol 1:30

  • Abbey road seems like the most dangerous place to get hit by a car.

    Lol 1:20

  • Sure, Ringo may have f*cked it up for locals of Abbey Road, but it could have been any other street in any part of the world and tourists would still be up to these shenanigans. It's human nature...sad, but true. (Btw, I'm embarrassed at that fact)

Why don't they petition to make it against the law to take photos during peak hours? I am not saying never, but something that won't affect the traffic during business hours and still allowing those who desire to have their picture taken there.

  • the guy at 1:34 gets to own the street

  • I'm going to cross it next year! :DD And take my picture. I don't care what the locals think! Dx

  • Why is the band called Blame Ringo? Is that supposed to be a joke?

  • @Xmenfan246 Because Ringo Starr made them change their name for copyright reasons or something

  • Do that in LA NY or DC they will get ran over.

  • it's always my dream to cross abbey road :)

  • its great how the beatles went and made somthing so ordinary like the everyday action of crossing a street into a main tourist attraction, people all over the world travel the to london just to cross this street. thats legit!

  • Je peux savoir se qu'iil a de si génial de passage piéton ?

  • omg...

    abnormal :o

  • Ça l'aurait pu être à Longueuil !

  • minute 1:34

    LMFAO

  • @jorluval69 duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude XDDDDD

  • I going to england in a year, I wanna go here so bad and just get a picture of me standing there lol

  • You really have go to Abbey Road!! It's a wonderful place and You can really feel the "Beatles-magic"!!!

  • it looks like its a real pain in the ass to drive through this road. XD

  • wooow

     i so sad...

  • cool upload, please take time to visit my channel i have been inside abbey road studios itself and took some pictures, ihav ealso recorded a cover of norwegian wood any feedback welcome

  • The Beatles are the coolest, im glad people do this.

  • Blame Ringo are the coolest

  • Im gonna Cross this Road, by the end of This Month!!! O_o

    CANT WAAAAAIT! :P

  • Abbey road è per me un posto magico. Starei delle ore ad attraversare sulle strisce pedonali!!!! 5 stars!!!

  • this was so funny I just had to come back to view it again. LMBO!

    Love it.

  • I saw some really hot chicks doing an Abbey Road photo once but I was in a hurry so I drove right through them.

  • ROFL!

  • this is my mates band

  • Have to admit, I had my picture taken crossing Abbey Road when I was there... couldn't resist. Of course, then laer had to cut and paste the Beatles off the album cover and in with me.............

  • They should film it again with a tilt-shift lens.

  • You are a pretentious chump.

  • @adamisbetterthanluke

If you say so. I thought it would look neat.

And who're Adam and Luke, anyway?

  • What is a tilt-shift lens? Then I will tell you who Adam and Luke are
