Apparently in Japan the Green version was released as Beta for testing before hitting the stores and the Lavender town theme was slightly different (and even creepier IMO, you can find it on YT). RUMOR has it that some kids would play until Lavender town and would complain about headaches, nightmares, etc, and some kids even committed suicide... probably related to the binaural beats. RUMOR though.
