hey man you guys seems to know a thing or two about lawnmowers. i got a problem with mine. i didnt flush any of the fluids in my 10.5hp briggs engine and i swaped it onto another lawnmower and i did slightly tip it but it ran smooth quiet almost brand mew but now it sounds like theres a knock in the engine. and also theres like an oil filiment comming out of the exhaust. please write me back in a private message or something i really need help i just got a plow to plow my drive and it need it
So far we're happy with it. It's not the most precision built thing, but the frame seems solid. I will say it is a pain to back up a cart with a steerable front axle, but what are you gonna do?
like that cart i have a john deere 165 hydro drive and a simplicity 6216 and i have to mow lawns about a mile away from my house and it looks like a good idea to put my jd on the trailer and tow it with my simplicity cuz my simplicity is faster and has more power
Got that same cart from Tractor Supply 2 years ago. The sides are a little weak if you're putting in heavy stuff like large rocks and logs. Frame is holding up well though.
The included pins that hold on the panels tend to fall out easily. When that happens, just use long screws and nuts with lock washers to replace them.
I'll probably end up welding a sheet of metal to the bottom, because the expanded wire isn't the strongest surface.
Yeah the sides do seem kinda flimsy, although I'm glad to hear the frame is holding up OK. This past Sunday we cut a sheet of plywood and put that down over the bed.
Come to think of it- would also make a great platform to work on those broken tractors as well- one time i got a couple heavy duty wood crates to work on tractors- unfortuntely termites got to em and had to chuck em out- im thinking of building another sort of lifted setup to make it easier to work on em.
@spiro37 it's 299.99 at tractor supply co

Do you have a Carburetor for a 19.5 HP Twin B&S?
Its from a Craftsman Hydro with I think a 42inch deck.
Thanks

LOL! Funny that out of all that stuff y couldnt find the right hitch pin- i use a bolt with a hole drilled in it for a pin.
dangeroustoys56 3 years ago
I'm gonna drill out the hole on the cart, for some reason it's the size of a pencil!
LynolsOffice 3 years ago
Really- the $50 red cart i got from Harbor frieght has a large hole in the hitch- seems odd it'd have such a small hole for such a large cart.
dangeroustoys56 3 years ago
nice!
Could use some 18" wheels off of some parts tractors. I'm doing that to my old cart.
I may have it done soon and posted in a video.
