I remember a third lower level in the "engine" room. Someone did a great video that reconciled dimensional discrepancies by raising the floor above the outside obvious first floor separation, even the working landing gear retracting. Way cool.
Most of the models can't be truely dimensionally correct. Isn't there a bottom or second floor for gally and sleeping quarters. Based on the height of the models there can't possibly be enough height for a second floor.
@taylorgpa@taylorgpa I had a roommate who was a huge LIS fan and he tried to reconcile the various sets seen in the TV episodes with the exterior saucer and he tried six ways to Sunday to make it work and it just didn't. They really weren't all that concerned with continuity back then on TV. In fact, depending on which episodes you watched there were as many as three levels in that spaceship!
