I have 2 Swissies, and live in Miami.. It's hot ALL the time. They do remarkably well. Like Jordan said. They seek shade, and sleep. Actually, they'll sleep pretty much anywhere. lol They're really great dogs. Do well with kids and want to be part of the family.
Hey, I've started looking into Swissy's as a potential new addition to my family and I wanted to ask (since it looks like you live either in Texas or somewhere like Texas) how does Mouse handle the heat?
And if you do happen to live in Texas and you got him through a breeder I would love it if you'd give me their information because he is absolutely gorgeous and very healthy looking.
i own a swissy myself, i live in the uk which isnt a hot place but in summer it gets very hot, my swiss handles the heat just fine he just goes into some shade and sleeps haha |^^ PS. swisses are amazing dog very strong,cute,smart,loyal (very loyal!) quite fast aswell great dogs overall i got 1 and a german shep they go great together
