I think Human Nature/Family of Blood were my favourite episodes of Tennant's run, which is odd because he wasn't really a Time Lord in it. Still, the villains were suitably creepy (Son of Mine's psychotic grin was great), and there were all those little sweet moments between John and Joan, and they had those wonderful period costumes...

Yeah, maybe, but Reinette was a lady in the court of France, lover of the king, in a time when sensuality was in fashion; thus supposed to look dashing; Joan is a matron and a widow in a very puritan setting: she's not supposed to do anything to improve her looks, lest she'd be looked down upon as though she were a sl*t.
On the opinion department, though it'd been nice to have a prettier GF for the doctor, I think it's actually a good move not to give him a beautiful love interest, as it gives credibility to both the situation, as in RL not everyone's a top model, and to himself, as Joan's unremarkable looks add to the fact John's in love, not in lust, with her.

the thing is, is i saw this eipisode and she said "widows aren't suppoesd to be pretty" she was right cause she is damn ugly, and i dont know why he fell in love with her and her amzingly wide nose

I love the edits and cuts you put into this. Song is...well it's diffrent. Not exactly sure if it's what I would use for a vid, but it's good just the same.

@Gruffuddsgal I´m still not o.k. with the fact that the Doctor and Rose never kissed each other (I don´t count the kiss when Cassandra possessed Roses body). I mean he forgot his previous life so that´s o.k. to kiss some other woman who was there but we should have got one kiss. On the other hand we´ve got so many beautiful scenes of the Doctor and Rose than anyone else with him. I mean he kissed almost all his friends,crushes or companions so it makes Rose and the Doctors story more special.
