If you took away all the vulgarity and parodying from this show then you'd have some moe anime that EVERYONE HAS SEEN BEFORE. I'm pretty sure everyone wants to see something NEW AND DIFFERENT every now and then.

I'd say this show has the best transformations, most addicting music, and best humor of 2010. Wont lie though, they did fail to be funny in a couple episodes. I don't think anything else has made me laugh as hard though.

I think it's just the fact it's so silly and goofy. It seems so different than 99% of anime out there. It's just refreshing.

I still think the Zombie episode was friggin hilarious. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long, long time. That, and the transformation with obese Stocking.  Oh jesus, I was rolling...

@RaySesshomaru Agreed, but the only times it failed to be funny was where it was overly disgusting in my opinion, i.e Giant Nipple Ghost, Nose/Booger Sex/Vomit Ghost. That's only 3 segments out of 26, (12 episodes with 2 segments each = 26) that were retarded, so Gainax is doing pretty well.
