yeah, fate, once I got a ticket to see lou reed over here in sp not too long ago, when it was deadline, somebody gave me one, 4 free- i just love lou reed man, and cave, well, if someday he shows up here I won`t lose.

They were really great. It's kinda funny. I just arrived in Melbourne (first day in Australia) on the day they played. I didn't know Nick was playing, I just accidentally strolled by the Forum 15 minutes before the gig started. Of course it was sold out, but as I stood there at the ticket counter a guy walked up to me and gave me a free ticket. Absurd really... I couldn't believe my luck. Great venue, great show. I got to see both the low-key version, and the rockier side of Nick Cave.

that must have been fate!...i only got to 2 of the 5 concerts (sunday and wednesday). My friend wendy wouldn't sell me her spare ticket to the monday concert. Said i should give others a chance!!! Dig Lazarus Dig should be good. He just gets better and better!

first half they played all the grinderman album...second half was old and newer bad seeds stuff...last concert there wer a number of encores...think all up it was 3 hours of grinding nick and the lads
