@aaron71 Its a Web Camshaft ...You send yours in and they weld material on and grind new profiles. I picked a more streetable profile with almost no extra lift but extra duration.
how do i add back pressure to my bike i have a cb550 i cut the pipes do i need to adjust the carbs? longer pipes? cause wen i gas it ,, It cuts off.. idk.. thx man
okay...so what did you do? you cut the mufflers off the stock exhaust system? Adding back pressure isn't a good thing if you're concerned with the performance. Sounds like you might have an overly rich mixture at WOT. First start by checking the timing and making sure it's set to the proper advance...if it is you might bump it up a degree or two. If that still doesn't do anything, then you'll have to start messing around with different sized jets.
im not a huge fan of handa but they are damn good bikes. eventually id like to get a 550 four engine and build a dune buggy with it. it would sound sweet and be fast as hell
Haha, that would be a fun project...I'd recommend the 750 four motor for a dune buggy project, though. A little more horsepower and more available go-fast parts. I've got a 96 civic and when I do an engine swap I want to take the engine that's in it currently and make a fun little tube-framed street car.
Wow sound! Did you change the size of the main jets?

is the mac exhaust good quality, or a cheap replacement?
mrmcinturff 3 years ago
They are not the highest quality exhaust systems but they are not junk either. The build quality is decent and the powder coating looks good too.
