@roaming2 NASA don't hire people specifically to go into space. Scientists who are already employed by NASA are chosen/volunteer to perform the missions.
Yes, but one which allows you to experience weightlessness. There is no such thing as a "zero gravity plane". Weightlessness is caused by the zero difference in the acceleration of the craft and the acceleration of the astronaut. So this "rollercoaster in the sky" is able to simulate that feeling mo-fo.
There is a gravity plane , type it in , or it's in the related videos column , it is only a concept but if we weren't in such a rush and so wasteful it would work , like they all did before powered flight.
This "gravity plane" you mean is just a fancy-named concept for a winged blimp that is apparently supposed to glide its way up and down through the atmosphere. However, the demo video is so full of perpetuum-mobile-like bullshitism ("using compressed-air-driven compressors to compress air") that it hurts. It is either a massive hoax, a troll to draw youtube attention, or systematic disinformation to confuse competitors ...
Well the best route would be to go to school and study these concepts and maybe join some time of aeronautical program.
Or if you wanna do this you can just look up the Zero G Corporation and they have flights out of different cities around the US nearly every week. I know they fly out of Vegas a lot and it costs $5,000. But what an experience!
It is a 727, with all the stuff taken out. NASA uses a C-9. Nothing is special about the plane, it uses a parabolic flight pattern to create weightlessness.
