1968 was when they put the silver face plates on, the amps were essentially the same as 65 just cosmetically different. Think 70 is when the big changes came in.
Really love that sound, one of main reasons I bought a Fender Blues Deville to go with my 78 Les Paul custom with a Burstbucker in the neck. Really enjoyed listening to your vintage sound and licks. Keep up the good work. Cheers matey!
just power... sounds stupid, but depending on where you play it it could be a different world, if you play with the twin in a small venue where you can't put it full volume the tubes wont crank the same way, on another hand the single speaker would be great for small venues but will have to be recorded by a microphone back in the PA to be heard in outside shows for example
lol i new u were british cuz your so good at guitar and u kinda look like that guy from across the universe but still nice les paul hope i get 1 for x-mas
it got that late beatles bite in the sound, but its not the style that your playing. just commenting on the sound. you're more bluesy. how much did you pay for this beauty?
Mannnn... this is the real dreamy creamy tone. SWEET! Hey man are the tubes original? Are they all RCA black plate tubes? If not what brand are you using???
that amp sounds soo good! I'll take it off your hands for at least a tenner!!lol. ur playin is good! check out my solo vids if you have a minute. Ciao
Yeah stop sounding like a white bloke, like the white bloke who invented the guitar, the amp,the pickups, the electricity the tv in the background and everything except the Pentatonic scale that came from China and Japan! Hmnnn makes you think!
Nice playing mate. Love your gear too. Have you ever heard of Swart amps? They seem like they could be up your alley, for amps that are being made nowadays. Stay classy.
Very nice man, I like your playing. I have just got a Les Paul (and have uploaded a video) I used to play a Strat but have now switched. I am playing through a Vox AC30 however after hearing the clean headroom of your Deluxe I would be keen to get one too, what sort of price are we looking at if you don't mind me asking?

You know from 1-3 the bright cap is engaged. Don't clip it like some may suggest. Just turn it up past 3 and use your guitar volume to control overall volume. Now, I want to hear the bridge pickup with the amp volume on 6, treble on 6 or 7, bass on 4, reverb just above 2 and the tone on the guitar rolled back to 8. Try That my friend and you will be in THE KNOW!!!!
Great! I especially like what you're playing in the first 2 1/2 minutes. The amp is beautiful. I'd love to hear what it sounds like with a tele or a strat . . .
If this is a silverface circuit, I like it way better than my blackface deluxe - very clean and sweet tone. Beautiful sounds and playing - thanks!

What would be a major diffence between the deluxe reverb and the twin reverb other than the watts and extra speaker?
