This is great. Bruce is moving toward the end of a great career and he's clearly casting a shadow. Younger musicians are pulling out the copies of Born to Run, darkness and the River and picking up some good insight. Sara Barielles, the Hold Steady, Arcade Fire, New Jersey's own Pete Yorn among others. Dig it everyone, we really got a chance to see Elvis grow old.
@CAYOMluver I would love to see the guy go on forever but the reality is that he's 61 and the band is up there as well. I have a feeling the next time around for the earth quakin', history makin', pants droppin', air conditioner shakin' e Street band is the last.
@ChrisDutch Don't forget the Gaslight Anthem. :) And Don't forget about "Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ" and "The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street SHuffle." People always seem to forget that he had records before "Born to Run."
BOSS/BOSS/BOSS/BOSS this song is on BORN IN THE USA ALBUM and i was reading bruce was the biggest rock star on the planet in 1984/85 it was boss maina all ova da world.
bruce is da best is da world no1 can come close to him because bruce is the best rocker and writer and live perfroma eva...and we all love bruce /boss

@ChrisDutch The end? He still has a couple more decades in him I'd say, which is more than some of the people you mentioned will have.

@ChrisDutch He's still doing 3 hour shows with the same energy of the 70s and 80s...he's definetely got more than one tour in him.

@CAYOMluver I hope you're right...I have a few more shows I'd like to see him play.

I think I love this woman. Talented, beautiful and a Springsteen fan. What more could you ask for in a person?

@ohcalcutta81 If I were single I'd probably ask for her phone number.

This is Bruce's official site...
Hey Bruce, I don't see Philadelphia on that updated tour list.
You were always one to humble yourself to those who supported you!
There are allot of southern NJ and Philly fans pissed off right now!
2 show in Philly weren't enough, and with the ticket scalpers and Ticketmaster scam. You should have put on at least 4 to 5 shows.

I agree with everything she's saying.
