Wolfsheim, Clan of Xymox, Diary of Dreams, Ikon, Project Pitchfork... bands like these just haven't broken into the "mainstream" like She Wants Revenge has - probably the most mainstream any dark wave band will ever get

i think its easy to compare interpol, franz ferdinand or the editors to she wants revenge because of a) the vocals are similar and b) the musical arrangements are rather similar.

having said that though, she wants revenge definitely falls into dark wave. that's where the lyrics come into play as well.
