So much focus on Main Idea, Compare and Contrast, Prediction (Much Ado About NOTHING) - Actually expanding vocabulary is key to comprehension. Learn Greek and Latin Roots of words, learn prefixes and suffixes, stems, these will quickly help you comprehend many new words. In addition, if you're stuggling with comprehension you may have a decoding problem. Tutoring may be necessary - try Linda-Mood Bell for this.

I'm not someone who likes attacking other people just because of their education or lack of it but when they criticise others then its time to start on them. Here we GO!

(1) The word 'Also' is a conjunction and technically shouldn't be used as a new sentence - if we are following correct grammar that is!

(2) You need a space between the previous word and the bracket. However, while it isn't strictly against the rules to use brackets where you have it isn't necessary and you could just as easily used a comma.

(3) The Youtube comments are always going to have some faulty use of language, slang, typoes and people should just accept that. They aren't under exam conditions and people of different ages and education levels have the right to write what they want.

It is easier to remember speech with visual stimuli so remembering a video or TV show is not the hardest thing in the world. Your level of comprehension for reading on the other hand really depends on how interested you are or how good your sudden memory is. I hate english courses but whenever I took one in college I had no trouble reading a book and remembering important events. Trick is to just read it, and then ask yourself if you remember or have an idea of what happened a page or two ago
