People did you see the video about how China is the biggest printer of Bibles now? However they are for export like back into the USA because cost are so cheap. The government limits the number of Bibles the Chinese can have and only what is approved by the government. What a hypocricy on the Part of the Chinese. Print Bibles for money for export but restricts&punishes its own people that are in desperate need of a Bible I feel sorry for those government officials on judgement day.
The Chinese government should just let people have freedom of religion. What's the worst that can happen? Suicide bombers? Nah. Suppressing freedom of religion is more frustrating for practitioners and thus more likely to cause civil unrest.
Persecution is the seed of the church. You see here a building being torn down, the building is not the church, remember. I've lived in China for many years and I've seen how the government has tried over and over again to wipe-out Christianity and has failed miserably. Do not pray that persecution will end, but pray that through persecution the Chinese church will continue to grow as it has been doing.
Democracy is not suitable for China now. Please dont always compare a developing country, China to devleoped countries like America. With the development of China, democracy will improve, definitely. If you compare 10 years ago's China and today's China, you will find the democracy improves and the communist party makes so many Chinese people not starved and rich. I believe China will have good democracy when it is developed. Give China time to develope!
It's ironic...I assume that the unjust officials that had this building torn down probably feel they are "breaking the spirit" of the body of believers that met there. They probably have assumed some sort of "victory" over this "church" because they destroyed a building.
What they likely don't understand the Church is made up of the people...not a building. If anything, their action of destroying this building probably made this Church even stronger and even more resolute to push onward.
God bless the believers in China. They are heroes to us all. And the forces of coercion are shown to be the hypocritical liars they are. In the end, brute force loses.
I am a semi-Protestant christian in PRC.I havn't been baptized ,however,I have my faith in Christ, thus I am a theist. There is no connection between politics and religions ,nevertheless some political acts are banned in china.
smuggled out of China at great personal risk??? Pfff,,, There are enough chinese that have internet access. So very hard to upload a movie clip hé... Pfff
Violence is not the way of a true Christian. Jesus tells us to pray for our enemies. If you watch any of the other videos on YouTube interviewing Chinese Christians who have suffered torture and imprisonment for their faith, you will see kind, gentle, strong spirits that have no desire to retaliate because they are filled with love for God instead of hatred.
The problem is that there is no freedom if you have to be approved by the state. -nonsense has anyone here from the usa lived in china?i have an entire family in china , at street level no differance in freedom from america i ve seen people raise hell at police saying what ever they want nothing was ever done about it , but there are laws in china if you do not follow the law then your being stupid as in any nation , no freedom talk is BULLSHIT, i assure you
Thanks to whoever posted this video....let's see more so the whole world can start to understand that the supposed "normal" current China is in fact a harsh and brutal dictatorship that does not allow freedom of expression or religion. I predict this will be seen by many more than the CCP ever thought. They have been successful in hiding this type of thing in the past but not for long.
And who decides what is or is not 'for the nation's well being'. ? The nature of religious freedom is to practice your faith without fear of it being approved as 'for the well being of the nation'
The christians in china that so bravely defy the governments persecutions, much like the earliest christians did it in europe before Constantine converted, will be in my prayers tonight. I wright this, not to make myself look better, but in the hope that others will do the same...
God is doing amazing things in China these years...
And to Christians all around the world: May God with you, and you with God!
In China the main religion is CCP/China.....or else. Traditional religions are allowed for "face" value ONLY! If you REALLY believe it then they think you're their enemy.
The worse thing about this system is that it controlls the mind of the people. The people are being brain-washed in schools since childhood.I have been in china for ten years and i notice this through my daily encounters with the people.
I am Chinese. I will believe in God no matter what happens to me. It is written in the Bible that Christian will be persecuted. I believe Jesus will come soon to take us home because the six seal already happened, and the prophecy is happening right now.
I don't like looking at a temple being destroyed but sometimes, acknoledge by the world of conditions like this creates much bigger changes. Who doesn't remember the guy in front of the tank?
allso the official churchs are full of propaganda and dont teach true docrine like the second coming which nest to the resurection is probably one of the most important and fundamental christian teachings
well~ it's the CCP, they've done much bigger shits then just torn down churches. they don't care, cause tomorrow, no one knows about this flattened church. they control the press, the infos, and people's minds.
And who decides what is or is not 'for the nation's well being'. ? The nature of religious freedom is to practice your faith without fear of it being approved as 'for the well being of the nation'
The locals in the video are trying to prevent the demolition, but you can even see them being packed into police vans and being detained in the background.
Don't act like a secret service. Come on, it was used by BBC long ago. You said this as if you were very close to the filmer. In a country with more than 100 million DVs, is it rare to find such things?
Freedom is disappearing in Canada. Look at what the (FRENCH) Quebecois in Canada are saying. Watch YouTube video 'Fuck the Queen of England'. Help defend english speaking Canadian rights under threat of a Francophone Separatist dominated Canadian Parliament. Please share this video so that the world may see.
