Very cute. The boys were like every boy rat I've had - "Wheel? You want me to run in the same spot? Not bloody likely". Pickle reminds me of a gorgeous little girl I a few years back while Splodge looks and acts like the little livewire Ebony I have now. About the same age, actually. She's the most active and insane rat I have (or do they have me? Hard to tell)

Hi. First of all i have almost seen all you videos on youtube, and i think you are great with rats, and love how you train them so well. But did you know thaat running wheels could hurt the rats backs really bad? and if you do, do what is your solution?

Just give your rat a treat every time she sniffs you; pet and stroke her gently so she feels safe. Try reading a book to her, it makes rats feel better. But you should really get another rat.

aww pickle and vodka awesome names lol we had a wheel 4 our rats and when they went in it alot they used to poo and when they ran the poo would full on them once our rat went in there pooed carryed on running and when she goit out she had her own poo on her soo funny splodge is so adventurious super cute

male, in my opinion, they are much calmer and cuddlyer, females are quite hyper

i love females. they always make me smile. They are more active and sleeker. easier to train. with their never ending enthusiasm.

But i have nothing against a good snuggle buddie or male rattie.

and are trainable too.

Really its up to you, and who suits you best, but always get two of the same sex.

Haha thanks :). Word of warning with the wheel, 1. Make sure its "tail safe" needs to be solid if possible like this one. 2. Females (young females too) are more likely to use and enjoy it, males are more likely to ignore it lol.

Nothing fancy done lol, take the video clips on my camera, put them together and edit in "Windows movie maker" and then just use the "upload" button on the youtube channel. My files tend to be about 100Mb in size, i know there is a limit of 1000Mb file size, but i didn't know it could be too small ... that's a weird error to get, how big are the files? Thanks for the support :)

Too cute! I'm assuming you're going to breed them? Are the lighter color girls also those European Huskies? My favorite is Splodge - I love black for ratties. We recently got two new girls also - 9 wks. but, quite a bit smaller than yours. Ours are Peaches & Sapphire and they're hairless dumbos - Peaches is a solid peach color w/black eyes and Sapphire has a black face w/blue gray body & black eyes. Too cute! Good luck with new girls!
