this is not carbonara........this is not carbonara, I'm Italian, we do not need the bacon but the "guanciale" the cheek of the pig, we do not need the cream.NEVER CREAM IN PASTA !!!!!!!!!
when they say "conchiglie carbonara", im pretty sure they are refering to the italian reciepe and not the equally famous chinese version ? and remember that hamburgers were first made and eaten in hamburg,
Strange that you posted your response as Spain and Italy sell more Thermomix than any other country in the world. They have been in Spain and Italy since 1961.
I also did not notice that this video said anything about it being an Italian dish. Remember that pasta was first made and cooked in China.
I AM HORRIFIED, this is a classical example of how to NOT to prepare italian food!
Some rule of italian cuisine: 1)never let the pasta "wait" until the sauce is ready 2) do not put cream in carbonara! gosh!3)never pour oil in the water in which you then cook pasta aaargh! please!!!!

My girlfriend used one in Germany for 5 months and we just HAD to buy one whens he came back. This machine really is a DREAM MACHINE. Yes it's expensive but you can pay monthly; eat out less to pay it off. It's healthy and the receipes are amazing.
Wow! I still have the Thermomix USA version since 2001 and last I check, they don't sell it in the USA anymore. I don't know if is true, but they where located in Orlando/Altamonte Springs FL around 2001. I was about to join as a seller, but after few problems, decided to pay out the machine (I could have it free if I decided to sell the system!) and 6+years later, still working!
Guys, you've got something big here. I have seen your site and would love to access all the rest of your moving, even paying!! how can we do that? I-Pod video and PSP formats are a great support for this. Would love to cook with my PSP video as a companion.
