This car isn't really that loud on the video because there is some music over the original audio, and I'm not pretty sure this guy isn't really pushing this car too hard, the BOV might sound a bit pussy, but only because it's not building up enough pressure to release to be really loud. HPF cars sound nuts usually, I can almost agree with you, but I've sen other video of this same car and it was ridiculous for a stage 1.

@tamel, I'm the owner of the car. The video was not sped up at all. It's just clips of different runs pasted together. This was a fun run. This coarse setup made high HP cars like mine crippled by the low speeds. Just enjoy the video.

Why so serious everyone? lol. Let the owners have fun autocrossing their high horsepower cars. Obviously the car isn't setup for autocrossing. This layout was small and tight and the video just shows the driver having fun. I purposely cut out the clips to show the driver sliding the car around. Obviously on his fast run he wasn't sliding around as such!

I've got a way overpowered modified sport car too, which from time to time I autocross and from time to time I drive on a track.

That the owner of the vehicle is pictured autocrossing his car here does not preclude the possibility that he enjoys his toy in other ways, including track days, drag racing, drifting etc!

I cannot speak for the empower, but most people do autocrossing instead of road racing or track days is because the risk of crashing in auto-x is minimal compared to high speed racing. The consensus is that many boosted BMW owners spend more time waxing their cars than driving them. That's very sad.

The HPF kits are not that laggy. The Stage 2.5+3 with lowered compression have a slight lag but the stage 1+2's retain the factory 11.5:1 compression ratio. The meat of the powerband on the HPF stage 1 M3's is from 3700rpms up to redline.
