  • the man that got fried at 0:54 to 1:07 reminded me of a scene from a doctor who story in 1968 the wheel in space.in the clip a man got fried after sabotageing equipment because he was hypnotised by the cybermen.

  • This movie inspired the movie in a movie in

    "Amazon Women on the Moon".

  • This was a black and white film. Who took the time (and money!) to colorize it?? Job well done!!

  • This is one of my favorites from the fifties. I wished they would have done something else than having moon maidens in green make-up. Maybe a pale grey or something.

  • We were searching for the actual missile sent to the moon, and we were rewarded with this amazingly hilarious discovery instead, especially considering that we're both quite pleasantly stoned. HIGHly recommended, perfect parody that's not a parody.

  • This one is funny, get a copy today!

  • not a trailer

  • I've never seen this movie but from what I've seen & read,it looks fun.

  • omgggg hillarious!!!!!!!

  • I have been trying to remember the name of this movie for year!!! Thanks ^_^

  • Oh No! Gary stay out of the sun!!!!

Gary always was a few cards short of a full deck....

  • Am STILL FOMAL!

  • AVATAR ? Chuckle...... well they do have Blue skins

    :P

  • oh no, Garry !!

  • I don't like the colorized version. Colorizing always looks fake. One of the thing that made these types of movies fun was the black and white. It gave them more atmosphere.

  • for some reason i hated the black and white version, but loved the color version

  • i laughed when i saw those foam rubber Rock Men.i thought they were going to fall over

  • I thought this film looked fabulous in colour, especially the fact that the moon babes were all blue. Inspired!

The fact is that these camp classics were el cheapo special effects movies - nothing more. Colourising them doesn't detract from the hokey dialogue and ridiculous situations. Some B&W classics are masterpieces of greyscale cinematography (the high-contrast, Gustave Dore-inspired compositions of the 1933 "King Kong" come to mind), but this film needs all the help it can get.

  • Why should Black n White movies not be Colorized ? ? Explain!!!! Personally i think theres no turning back it looks Pulpy like the 50s sci fi comic covers.

  • impressive special effects and make up effects!

  • It's a great film! But I prefer the original black&white version. One should not colourize movies afterwards.
