That's my uncle Art Best in this game. Funny enough, I randomly ran into a former teammate of Art’s in Houston about five years ago. I was in the same taxi(going from one airport to another in Houston) with him when I noticed a big golden ring which said Notre Dame on it. I told him who my uncle is and he just about exploded with shock and happiness. He told me that the year they were champs that he was a freshman and that Art was THE fucking fastest guy on the team.I wish I remembered his name

@hooffam i just realized the Irish QB is Tom Clements, he was one of the best QB's in the CFL....he had a great hall of fame career in Canada....i think he's an offesnive coach with Green Bay now.

@quincee33 Yeah, I need to get in touch with Art sometime soon, he's a very funny guy and it's been awhile since I've seen him. My mom said that when Art was on the Chicago Bears team with Walter Payton that they were referred to as "Salt and Pepper." Pretty funny eh? I wish Art had been in the NFL longer, but I hear that an injury knocked him out after three years. I'm pretty sure that the average time in the NFL is three years. As a teenager, I remember Art's hand crushing handshake.
