Frederick does sound like a nice fellow but l don't agree with his diet ideas ay all. Fruit and vegetables?? ,,,well lets hope they the freshly picked so the electromagnetic vibration is still in the foods. But really...vegetables? Why not chose much more nutritious greens with softer fiber like sprouts and less natural toxins, + they are better for city folk because they are alkways eaten fresh. 2,500 calories on fruit, hmmmm....
People can get very defensive when discussing our diets because they don't want to hear that they are wrong. Understand.. the food pyramids, the charts... they are all advertisment from industry. Turn over that "nutrional" milk chart and you will see "National Dairy Council" at the bottom. Wake up people.
@Vegirobin Of cource though they only advocate pasteurized milk. Thats poison. However, Raw milk (unpasteurized), look into that. Its changed many lives :) The information on raw milk and health is astounding. I agree with you though, the charts, the food pyramid, its all industry. Raw milk is becoming more and more illegal too. When they say its dangerous and illegal, i do my research!
@prsglenn I don't have to look into it.. I grew up on a farm with cows, pigs and chickens. All the milk we drank was raw. It gave me hives and made me so sick that I had to stop drinking it. Cow's milk was designed for a baby calf, not for humans. Most people cannot digest it. I have my degree in nutrition and do not see anything redeeming about a human drinking cow's milk in any form.
@FM897 I'm not sure I understand your response. I do NOT advocate drinking milk. I was making a point that the National Dairy Council is a company that is out to make money rather than to give sound, logical nutritional advice. So many people are brainwashed. They hear I don't drink milk and say "But where do you get calcium?" I say, "From many plant sources. Calcium is a mineral. Cows don't produce it! It's in their milk because of what they eat."
@Vegirobin I'm terribly sorry, this response was meant for the person you were debating, prsglenn, not you. I'm completely on our side in regards to this issue (and probably others). My apologies!! Have a happy, dairy-free new year! :)
Eggs, animal flesh / Beef, whole Milk, butter, grains, fruits, vegetables, salt, herbs, living in joy,.....all those make for strong bodies, solid white teeth(not transparent or shady off-'white'). Of course all being grown with quality conditions.
People are way better off all-around health wise eating the standard four food groups, with rare exceptions for certain people. No propaganda, that's based on a world of real experience for what works for people in general.
No animal eats all four foods groups. No even omnivores, of which we are not. I encourage you to investigate if any animal has the capacity to digest all of those groups.
Yes, and hence we are Homo sapiens, - the most sapient -, and of course let your body's response indicators guide you as well. And, you can eat all these 'simply' as well, of course include cooking if and as appropriate per the food, yes with some, unnecessary with some. And, nearly all plant foods we eat have been selectionally developed by humans for thousands of years. The plants and plant products we eat have been domesticated for thousands of years.
We are omnivores worldwide since our time began. You're spouting nonsense. We have the capacity as is evidenced by ourselves(not everyone, but a large percentage, to varying degrees in the course of ones life) and history.
My answer to the question is I am doing better raw now that I eat simpler, so many cookbooks I have (and don't use) have SO many ingredients, I don't want to spend all day in the kitchen!
I liked this video-- good to see my 2 FB pals together. Good interview! I continue to work on being "high" raw food-- I'm 59 and have developed a lot of 'habits' over the years that I am chipping away at. We eat a cooked meal (stuff like quinoa) every couple of days and don't sweat it. I am much more sensitive to stuff that doesn't work for me and am truly overcoming cravings for junk... and I don't crave glutens, woot woot! All the best, Cynthia
eating raw is working for me in that I'm pain free (joint pain) and many of my gut issues have resolved. However, I think I eat too much fruit as I've not had any weight loss... maybe too many calories with the fruit?
One of the reasons that humans are more advanced is that they have a higher intelligence. A long time ago they created fire. With fire they cooked. The problem is that they cooked the food too much and too often. That created imballance and then the humans swung back the other way..........raw foodists! lol. So now we have junk food eaters on one end of the spectrum and raw foodists on the other end! lolololo It's like bell bottoms in the 1970s and straight leg jeans in the 1990s!
this was a very good video. because i eat and still be hurry it is good to know that im not over eating.i have one question how do you release the weight on a raw food lifestyle??? i have been on the raw food lifstyle for about two to three months, could it be im not eating enough??

I like the way Frederic speaks - good info and sounds like a sincere fellow. As for the other guy, the host, he sounds obnoxious.

@Vegirobin Raw milk, pasteurized milk....it doesn't matter! It's milk from another species that we're not meant to be drinking.

Some people seem to do better when they eat less carbohydrates (fruit) and get more calories from healthy fats (olive, coconut, avocado).
Also, if you would have an overgrowth of fungus or parasites, you could be feeding them with excess sugar from to much fruit.
I suspect a raw version of a low carbohydrate diet would be really healthy for some people.
