  • pretty mild bridge port man

  • where is the turbo?

  • first off N/A means naturally aspirated in automotive talk

  • RX7Nut i enjoy watching your videos. I have an S5 N/A. With regular street-port. And 3mm apex seals. I am in the process of putting a custom made turbonetics turbo and water to air intercooler. With all piping and manifolds custom made. My question for you? How is your customers N/A turboed car running? And how much boost did you feel would not decrease reliability? I am going to run 6-7 PSI and engine management will be with haltech ecu.

    Thanks

  • Well a update, he was using RA Super Seals, after the boost bug got him he was running 14psi on the S5 High Compression rotors. It was a very fast car. When at Sevenstock he wanted to build a higher HP engine. Well he "TRIED" to blow the motor, well at 21psi it Knocked really hard, but it didnt blow it. Just dented the rotors.

  • This car has no ported engine a 12a or 13b has a distinctive noise and this car has none off it!!

  • Allright noobs, this is my damn car so me me clarify.

Rx7Nut built this damn motor, he knows what the hell it is.

And it IS a frankenstin motor for sure. Is that cid it had a N/A intake on it, with the turbo spaced out with RB flange extensions that Rx7nut made.

it DOES have the 5th/6th port sleves in at the time so it does not sound like a bp motor at all.

ther is a STOCK turbo/manifold on it...

  • k well since i own an rx7 specalty shop for over 20 years id say ur a noob still u cant fool a master

  • I don't care who you are or what you do for a living, if you can't tell the difference between a 12A (carbed) and 13B (s4 n/a specifically) intake manifolds, you are a noob for sure... And what RX-7 specialty shop do you own anyway?

  • 20 years shop owner and still can't spell.

  • Well you sure seem to no everything, well at least you think you do.

This is the motor from the 6-port bridgeport turbo, that you said was stock with no port job and no turbo.

The turbo was on the engine but there was no piping to or from it.

  • THIS IS A 6-Port Bridgeport

  • peice fo shit 12 a n/a and not ported what a noob

  • its a 13b... 12as were in the first generation SA and FBs

  • 13B JPort search that that is how a ported 13 b sounds so dont lie

  • just because thats not what a 13b sounds like ported doesnt mean its a 12a, 12a is a carberated engine this is an S4 fuel injected engine

  • Correct.

  • where is the intercooler piping!! non-turbo for sure... dont post as a turbo ish!!!

  • dude thats not a fuckin t2 and its not bridge ported

  • It isnt a TII, but it is a NA-Turbo Hybid, and yes the 6ports have bridges cut into them. It isnt a full or even a half BP it is a 1/4

  • whats the difference between a TII and N/A turbo, i dont get it, and what does bridgeport and half bridge port mean, i dont get it please help!!

  • TII- Low compression Rotors with a turbo

NA Turbo- High compression Rotors with a turbo

    Bridgeport

Full Bridge- all 4 ports have bridges

Half Bridge- 2 out of 4 have bridges

1/3 Bridge- NA Irons 5th/6th ports only bridged

  • thanks very much

  • what does the bridges do?

  • good shit man. ive thought of doing this a few years ago but money is an issue. my mechanic who is the only person who realy works on rotary where i live, laughs at me for wanting to try this.. ill show him someday. a friend on rx7 club has the intake manifold for the 6 port t2 swap.

  • that car is stock

  • Yeah, the intake tube goes from the airbox to the throttle body. Sorry kid, that's not turbocharged.

  • It did have a turbo on the side, it wasn't hooked up because he didn't have all the piping and IC ready, and i brought the motor from about 80miles away so i hooked it up and started it in NA form. O and for a Fact, I have been dealing with rotary engines for 12 years

  • I do see a turbo hiding down there, my bad.

  • So thats what it sounds like. I got one but the damn thing wont run!.

  • must be a small turbo cause i cant see it lol

  • lol its not turbo!

  • doesn't loep like a Bridge Port?

  • The ports are Closed at the moment, look at my other videos they are open a little and you can here the brap brap brap

  • dude u cant lie that car is stock no ports no turbo i got the same gxl in white and i have an rx7 shop so ur a noob

  • Well I have been working on Rotarys for about 12 years, have made stock hp to 650ish Hp. This engine DOES have a small bridgeport, and there is a turbo on the side (Not hooked up yet) And WOW I have a shop also so don't think you are all that.
