@gtasandman they are both powered, the up sd60m got a factory sound decoder and the upsd70m got a Digitrax DH163PS decoder, both are MUed with the Digitrax DCS50. The bnsfgp60m also got a Digitrax DH163PS decoder.

@ConrailxChessie I use a Digitrax console so my 2 other engines are both equipped with a Digitrax DH163PS decoder (no sound), more i dont need, ive sent u a manual of this decoder to ur mail, greets

@ConrailxChessie Thx! It comes with a decoder from factory, i think its a MRC sound decoder, the ones Athearn used to put into there engines, really wack ones! Need to say, i had to return it to Athearn because decoder was all messed up from the begining, just like 1000's others who bought this engine at the time. Recentlly got it back, works well, didnt opened yet to see wich decoder it is but im quite sure its the same MRC sound decoder, but this one works. Greets
