I know most of the people are recommending you keep the hat, but let's face it--comfort is primary. Loose the hat if you're hot. We've come to know and love you anyway. If you feel it's your signature piece, how about getting a mannequin head and putting the hat on display in your room?

Don't get rid of the hat! Or just get a lighter had with flowers on it. Or get a light hat and pin flowers on it. Or glue them on. Or draw them on.

I know, I know, but what can I do? She wants me to take them, and I can't just refuse. She's my mom.
One thing, though. My mom isn't giving them to me, she's just taking me to our doctor every few days to get one. So don't worry too much.
