@gaboupzombie I think Yves Saint Laurent was really exquisite when he was alive, then the signature went from amazing , exquisite, parisian, elegant and chic to just nice and pretty i guess, well at least my opinion
for me this collection, with Prada, marni, ferré and fendi were teh best collections of the season, it was so chic and simple , but at the same time modern, i agree with anna w. when she said that this would been the best collection if wouldn't have so much dark colours for spring !
For me everything Karl largefeld's make it's extraordinary, i just don't count because it's always good Chanel, but at the same time, it's like always more of the same, in fall and spring collection... in couture, resorts and pre-fall... the thing changes !
No offense, but, this is, truly, some of the ugliest clothing I've ever seen, not one piece flattering to the feminine form, which is what Monsieur St. Laurent was all about. He had his own style.
hahaha ridiculous, "I don't know where the cage came from?!" from many different collections!Take for example Christian Lacroix's previous collection, the cage popped up often.
Though i do appreciate YSL's take on it. Its just that in fashion, things don't usually pop out of no where, theres always a source.
"Genie pants" are everywhere. Everywhere. I sort of love them, and hate them. They are beautiful when they are fabricated out of lighter fabrics like in the Ralph Lauren spring 09 show. Just beautiful.
Not even close to anything He would've done, the makeup is terrible, too. It's a lost art.

The shoes were freaking amazing lol

The shoes were amazingly good, but the outfits not all of them were good some boring and some not that great but just okey.
I reckon YSL needs to be modernized and not just keep showing the same.
