what all these videos never point out is to use SCHEDULE 80 PVS PIPE..not Schedule 40 (which is most available at stores), as SCH 80 is double walled thickness...do this for safety purposes
@ksginnc Very good point. My first was schedule 40 - and I'm horrified because it could have killed me. The PSI ratings are hugely different, so definitely do your homework when making.
how to make a mortor out of that. make a launcher thing. get a bottle. fill the bottle with 100 bb's and half way with vineger. pput baking soda in the bottle, shake the bottle, and launch it with the mortar. tada. i guess its good for airsoft wars
How did you get the wires inside the Chamber? Looks like you had drilled 2 holes for the wires... did you apply some glue or something to seal the holes?
if your looking for a better design, change the pvc barrel to abs and add about a foot to a foot and a half to the barrel length, some times abs doesent fit right with pvc though so you might have to file a little off the outside to get it to fit, (abs because its less flexable and makes a longer barrel less bendy and more accurate, also a 4 ft barrel mod would be fucking cool, way more power, but uh, you might need to make the gas chamber bigger if you do that, lol potato guns are so fun,,,,,
I made one yesterday evening. 2', 2" dia. barrel, 16", 3" dia. chamber, and came complete with a ban from the local college property for the following year.

So I decided to make a scaled down cannon for shooting radishes. I used 1" PVC for the barrel, and it works amazingly. Dude, I just made one of these a few days ago. See, my best friend has had one for a really long time, and I always wanted to make one. So I decided to make a scaled down cannon for shooting radishes. I used 1" PVC for the barrel, and it works amazingly. Me and my bro went out and loaded it up with gummy bears, fired like a spreader shot XD
