Personally, I think ALL the Japanese digimon songs are better than the English ones; the dub songs almost all suck and sound like they were made for 8 year olds, and I'm 18 (even when I was 10, I thought the opening was annoying). I mean, "Digimon are the champions!" vs "Hirari" and "Butter-Fly?" Hmmm... It's a close one as to who put more thought into their openings-- America or Japan? I used to hate it when people complained like this, but now I understand how they feel...

Well since Disney doesn't own the rights to the old themes and only the rights to this theme, if Digimon Savers was brought to the US, they would either use this theme or a new one.

Yeah, the video's alright... but I agree with Puppeh on some marks, this song doesn't really fit the tone of the opening. The actual song was pretty happy-go-lucky. Then again, this is a FAN-MADE video, so it's allowed different boundaries. Nice work. (So, that was kind of a back-handed compliment. xD)

xD I was so focused on singing the song, I didn't really watch the video. -Goes to do so.- Well, I gotta hand it to the English dubbers, they really know how to suck, compared to the original. Still, Digimon's one of the few dubs that I find TOLERABLE. I've actually enjoyed it. A lot, compared to other dubs. ^^ Fruits Bsket was also a good dub, and so was Full Metal Alchemist. Bleach is taking some getting used to.

season 5 is called Digimon Savers in Japan and is currently airing there. No plans have been announced yet to release the 5th season in the US, but they probably will.

The music didn't really match the opening after you've heard the original japanese in my opinion. In the japanese there are just climaxes in the parts of the song and the opening, considering how it's put together. This was something different entirely. It just wasn't right and just didn't fit. Though this sort of made my stomach sink at the thought of what the american dubbers are actually going to do to the opening. -Sigh- The american openings suck.
