What problem were you having that this mod is correcting? I read the word slop, in what direction? Is this a problem that is common with the HBK2 or is it something that YOUR HBK2 needed? BTW for some more HBK2 mods check out my channel..either way- it flies, it works, then its a great mod. nuff said- 5 *s
The little screws that hold the seesaw in place will strip out and cause the assembly to be loose. I got real tired of trying to figure out how to get those little screws tight enough to keep lateral slop out of the equation. The mod I came up with allows for as much "tight" as you could ever want or need!
Now a-days though. People are blowing there money on either the entire cnc head, or the micro-heli cnc seesaw that can be retro'd to fit....I like my fix though, cause I had everything I needed to make it work and I got to use my brain for a fun little project. Check those little screws from time to time on your seesaw...I have had mine come clean out and go MIA!!!
In the video, you will be cutting the end off of an Align feathering shaft and seating the bearing against the Sawed end of the shaft. Instead, you could measure the depth of the cavity by how far a thin tool was inserted. Then, saw at that point so you have 2 open ends on the shaft. Use a screw and washer from both ends of the head assembly against the bearings. You would most likely have to use one short screw and one long screw, since the internal threads do not run the coarse of the shaft...
