  • I just had my Evo 8 Tuned on a Mustang Dyno at Vivid Racing today. I have the FP red turbo and all supporting mods. Made 390WHP. That was on shitty ass Arizona 91 OCT fuel. Running 24PSI tapering to 20PSI.

  • @evomaniac 24psi tapering to 20psi and a test pipe. Like I said before, my project was tuned on a Mustang Dyno at Vivid Racing in Gilbert AZ. Tuned on 91oct pump gas. I have a video of my car on the dyno and a shot of the dyno print out on my youtube channel.

  • @evomaniac Just curious on your opinion. I recently put down 343whp on a Mustang Dyno with a FP Red, and the standard supporting mods. 27psi on 93 octane. I'm running a high flow cat and was told I'm being robbed around 70whp because of that. Anyone care to agree or disagree?

  • @xhardwarex If properly tuned, yes, I believe that with a test pipe you could make a lot more whp since there is no restriction. You're real numbers are probably closer to 390 ish since the mustang dyno reads approximately 20-35 per cent lower than an awd dynojet.

  • @evomaniac Thx. I got the test pipe on now, also putting on a larger FMIC. Will get tuned in a month or 2 and see the difference. Thanks for the input!

  • extremly low numbers for an FP red. stock evo 9 turbo makes higher numbers. Get a different tuner dude

  • dynos do mean shit its all about trap speed and 1/4 mile times....but my evo X with full boltons makes more power than this...something doesnt add up....what fuel was used?

  • 92 octane. It will trap every bit of 120mph @ 3400+ lbs.

  • Sounds about right. People dont understand how shitty gas is, and how some people want a very safe tune. Dyno numbers mean nothing.

  • those are absolute shit numbers for an FP red on and EVO you should be in the 400HP range....is it tuned?

    355 on MD *1.15= 408awhp on DJ
