  • I'm sorry but this is terrible. Batman the animated series is WAY better,

  • @tomaspeverell That's because back in the day, this cartoon was governed by Network Standards and Practices which prohibited punching, and using guns, although ray guns could be used because they don't exist.

  • Man the Joker was really a nice guy compared to the Joker o todays comic books :)

  • CHUM

    fail

  • this joker voice SUCKS

then again mark hamill was only a kid when this was made so i cant really judge

  • I like how the Joker is always happy. Even when he's behind bars..

  • This is relevant to my interests. :)

  • Joker: the original troll

  • Jumping jimmys Batman!

  • this... was an EPIC WIN.

  • omigod the corny jokes are killing me!!

  • no pants! whoo!

  • I love this show

  • Damn..Robin sucked a whole lot more in the 60s! Batman should work alone more often

  • So many bad puns..... !

  • Casey Kasem is playing the voice of Robin in this series he was also of Robin in the Hanna-Barbera's The Superfriends, He was the voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo and the voice of Alexander Cabot III from Josie And The Pussycats.

  • Are these on DVD yet? There're actual fighting scenes here, unlike in the later 1977 sequel. Filmation also seems to have reused much of the same stock animation and backgrounds for the later series as well.

  • @vgmc7650 I wished they were! Darn Warner Brothers Studios! As for Filmation using stock animation (the idea came from co-founder/director Hal Sutherland, btw), they did utilize a great deal of it as a means of saving money because even to this day, new animation is very expensive to produce.

  • Lol pure awsome ness

  • batman is so easy going lol

  • I cant believe i used to enjoy watchin this,it looks so crapy now dat were in HD era .

  • batgirl is way cooler than robin ,i love joker he is the best villian ever

  • OMG! I now remember that we rented some of these episodes on VHS when I was a kid! It all seems so long ago... T-T

  • Batwooman and Meatloaf go well with vegimite and alanas morresitte...

  • Robin! Put on some freaking pants!

  • 1:38

    -Puts on sunglasses-

    AAAAAAWWWW YEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

  • Batgirl trying to take Robin's job. :-)

  • Forget Robin and Shaggy having the same voice, what's even more bizarre is when Batman and Robin "sneak" onto the boat, they produce the same "running-away-sound" that Shag and Scoob make when they flee from some idiot shyster in a monster costume! Way to be stealthy, guys.

  • To shatter his confidence, and render him useless to batman? Why not just get a gun and kill them already...

  • The voice of Robin sounds like Shaggy from Scooby Doo. It possibly is, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

  • @creamcheech Casey Kasem also the voice of Cliff Jumper on the original Transformers.

  • ellie

    hfhgggghh,gffg

  • ellie

  • if you have not noticed the same person who plays robin also voices shaggy off of scooby-doo in the 1960's

  • @tinkertinkbell100 i saw that i was like ZOINKS

  • @tinkertinkbell100

    That would be Casey Kasem.

  • @tinkertinkbell100 Casey Kasem.

  • @tinkertinkbell100 That's Casey Kasem, who was a very famous radio DJ. He voiced Shaggy for about 40 years as well as doing the classic Robin voices. He is one of the most talented voice actors alive, up there with Mark Hamill, voice of the Joker in Batman: TAS.

  • 1:38 Ugh... That's what she said?

Anyways, this is my first experience with the original Batman show and I simply can't get over Robin and Shaggy having the same voice. It made me laugh so hard when I first heard it.

  • This is shitty fuck fuck shit!

  • @supmandude As shitty as todays cartoons?

  • @demo2382 It's not THAT shitty.

  • man the joker got a big fuckin head man

  • I can't watch this without dying of laughter within the first few seconds.

  • same makers as scobby doo right?..

lol if not robn must be shaggys twin XD

  • @GoTeamOverdrive Wrong. This was produced by Filmation Studios. Scooby-Doo was produced by Hanna-Barbera (now a subsidiary of Warner Brothers Animation, a Time Warner compny).

  • batman IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CARTOONS GIJOE989.

  • THE PUNS! Dad how..why... how did you watch this?

  • This sucks

  • Eww. After that, I need a high dosage of REAL Batman shows.

  • 4:50 My batarang feels wobbly

  • Comment removed

  • The only person to look the same until now is Alfred.

  • Robin sounds just like Shaggy

  • @TheArts8 Because they are both voiced by Kasey Kasem.

  • @TheArts8 it is shaggy AKA Casey Kasem

  • Robin is a dumb idiot. If I was batman id slap him in the mouth

  • At least they all have a good laugh with each other at the end :)

  • Joker Looks stupid!

  • That Batman looks too serious for Adam West.

  • -Batman: Would you like to... take a ride?

    *trollface,jpg

  • Good luck partner at 3:58? Hmmm....

  • 2:25

  • come one beat him !! do it !!! he will become Red Hood !!!

  • @Toha15 This Robin is Grayson not Todd.

  • this is the best thing i ever saw.

  • Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamnit Robin !

  • at the end:

Robin: " well looks like we nabbed the joker again... btw, where's Rachel?"

    Batman: ^o_o^

  • I'd let Batgirl give me an extra hand anytime if you know what I'm saying. ;)

  • i didnt want to watch this my lil cuz loves batman

  • what's with the satanic laugh at the end?! O_O

  • Joker...smiles....too...much...

  • batman

  • what a stupid man jumps in the water when he knows he cant swim hes stupid

  • @1milesprower It was one of Joker's henchmen pretending he couldn't swim. That's how Robin got the gimmicked utility belt.

  • 2:30 What are you looking at?

    Nothing!

  • Without a doubt it's Ted Knight doing the Joker voice. I know some sources say Larry Storch but if you listen to Knight's natural voice long enough it can be detected in the characters that he did. Some more obvious like The Riddler.

  • Batman “Robin you have horrible hand-eye coordination!!“

  • the weird bomerang made me laugh

  • @MrAngeloroque cool, good research!

  • @MrAngeloroque similar.. very similar

  • 3:55 "Well all right. Do you swallow?" XD

  • Man overboard! -jumps into water-

  • Batman and Batgirl should be naked on those gears. Then they can get it on at midnight.

    "My word, Master Dick!"

  • I love the Joker's laughter in these classics from the 60's!! Pure camp!!

  • Kugdsazzjjkklll, bvvccffghtttrreeewqqaazssxxzcc

  • Now we press the button and see the Joker jump out!

  • Lmao... chum.

  • holly highjynks!!

  • The Dark Knight should have been more like this.

  • Alright .. the joker pretty much laughed for all of us because of 2:46. THAT SHIT WAS HILAROUS!!

  • this is good show

  • THIS SHIT IS HILARIOUS!!!!

  • did he just stop that massive clock with a tiny bommerang ::S

    gotta love cartoon logic ^^

  • thats because it is the same voice its casey kasem of americas top 40 radio show.

  • um... why isn't robin wearing pants?

  • when i watched this it always came to my mind "why the helpers of the bad guys are all alike?"

  • Imagining 21st century Batman saying, "Forget it, ole chum..." makes me lol...

  • No matter how many years Batman`s been around, Joker ALWAYS calls Robin "Boy Blunder"

  • i love batman!!

  • batman is a great cartoon

  • Wow... THIS batman sure is nice!!! Calling Robin "chum" and letting him get vacation time...

  • the r on robin might stand for retarded

  • stupid Robin

  • stupid robin

  • Zoinks batman, the joker is.. like... running away

  • Ha! A devious confidence ruining scheme!

  • aah, the days when Joker planned to "shatter Robin's confidence", and not beat him to death with a crowbar.

  • @papercutpictures i dunno, that crowbar shatters confidence AND bones.

  • classic

  • Prequel to the Killing Joke.

  • Prequel to the Killing Joke.

  • Horrible!!! xD

  • omfg this is a big FAIL!!!

  • Holy incompetent goons Batman!!!!

  • I love Batman this is a classic Cartoon.

  • ok wtf 1:34

  • DAMMIT ROBIN!

  • 1 small detail people. This was the first Generation of Batman cartoons. They were not really that bad. They had to get it right so that Batman the Animated Series would be so Excellent.

But, they ain't as bad as the Hulk cartoons from the 1960's. Those were worse. Basically just pictures with sound.

  • AHAHA these old cartoons are so funny to watch XD

Bad storyline, bad punchlines, AWFUL animation, but still a lot of fun ^^

And I love how the cliche group laugh at the end involve even the Joker, as if they were all pals =P

  • BATMAN NEVER LAUGHS!!! hes a dark and mysterious character!

  • lol I love how Batman was all ready to tell Batgirl off. Meanie. Hahahaha!

  • HOLY SHITTY PUNCHLINES BATMAN!!!

  • The voices for this were the same actors used in Superfriends (Adam West and Burt Ward took over in the later seasons). This was the only time the same character appeared on two different networks. Thanks to TV Standards and Practice,s Batman could not just whoop ass.

  • 2:53-3:05 I'm pretty sure Robin is already useless to Batman.

  • casey kaseem= the voice of robin and shaggy

  • @postersurfman1 casy kasem did both of those voices.

  • @tjsnider02 The voice sounds to old for Robin to have. Casy is still a good voice actor.

  • so wait, everyone stop. out of all the shit, batman and robin have on theyre utility belts, out of all those expensive, crimefighting gadgets, robin picks up a fucking roller blade? what the hell?

  • @logandh2: you're taking things WAY too seriously.

  • @logandh2 you're missing the point. It's 1968. Batman and Robin were so advance they had rollerblades even before they were invented. Every other crimefighting schlub had to put up with rollerskates.

  • I HATE ROBIN SOOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHH!!!!

  • Casey Casem did lots of voiceover work for cartoons in the 60s and 70s. He's one of the voices of my childhood.

  • I always thought robin was WAY too excited in this series. He was always like "Holy Shits and Motherfucking Donkey Dicks Batman, That Shit is a Fucking Apple! Oh My GOJMGIDNGNGSODNHFNGDSGSIJ!"

  • i seriously don´t like the looks of this cartoon, especially the joker´s

  • lol at 0:20

  • to me, this was cheesier than the 1943 serial

  • the last thing that the joker said was "oh haha. very funny" and everyone laughs. that is so gay. where is batman interegatting joker and beating the shit out of him i mean i know it is boomerang but this is so corny and gay it will kid's mind into mush and make him a goodie-two-shoes gay boy when he grows up and whats with robin wearing a suit and finding out the problem with his utility belt almost immediatly and joker being a wimp?! he fucking ran from the fight when a KID saves the day!!!

  • @benarutos It's the 1960's. You're attitude and grammar make you exempt from judging it. Your comment is the typical A.D.D nonsense that plagues our generation.

  • @Scribbles612 its not my fault my keyboard is broken. and i do have ADHD u asshole. dont say its a plague. many people have it. just because u dont doesnt mean u are perfect. btw i was just pointing out the obvious flaws of many in this vid.

  • Half the time, it looks like Robin's not wearing any pants. And if that narrator keeps saying "secret" (Exp. "Barbara Grodon who is secretly BatGirl" and 'Wayne Manor which is secretly the location of the BatCave") then they wont be secret much longer!

  • This is so cheesy and ridiculous that its hilarious.

  • joker: now to shatter robins confidence and make robin useless to batman!!!

wow joker thats reeeeeaaaaalllly evil i mean robin is already useless

  • Does anyone besides me think that Robin sounds like Shaggy off of Scooby Doo?

  • @postersurfman1 its probably the same guy doing the voice! back in the day they used all the same voiceover artists

  • @nickyj82 It is. I read the video discription after I watched the video. The voice actor is under Shaggy's voice in the Scooby Doo credits. It sounds out of place here b/c it makes Robin sound a lot older than he is.

  • @postersurfman1 maybe it is the same voice, i mean it is boomerang

  • @JMacKillop It is the same guy that does Shaggy's voice.

  • Comment removed

  • @postersurfman1

And they both sound just like Casey Kasem. Probably just a coincidence.

  • @givebeesachance It is Casey Kasem. I should've read the video discription before watching it.

  • @postersurfman1: That's because he's voiced by the same guy, Casey Kasem of "America's Top 40" fame.

  • @postersurfman1 that's because he's the same actor,Casey Casem, it says in the description

  • @postersurfman1

    ZOIKES

  • @coolsomeXD I think its spelled "Zoinkes". But I could be wrong. Its still funny which everyway its spelled.

  • @postersurfman1: of course you know that Casey Kasem is the voice of Robin as well as Shaggy. Casey is also the voice of the character, Alexander, on "Josie and the Pussycats".

  • @postersurfman1 Sorry, I am one of the other 900,000 odd that says he doesn't! :)

  • @postersurfman1 the same person did the voices.... Casey Kasem

  • @postersurfman1 it actually is, they were both voiced by legendary disc jockey casey casem!

  • @postersurfman1 same voice actor.

  • @postersurfman1 casey kasem did the voice of robin

  • @postersurfman1

its casey kasem whose the voice of robin AND shaggy

  • @postersurfman1 its from HB so probly the same actor

  • @XANA8446 Actually. this was from Filmamation animation,,,, often called the worst Hollywood animation studio ever (They were best known for the 60s Archie cartoon)

  • @postersurfman1 That would be because it IS the same voice... CASEY CASEM!!!!!!!!!!

  • @postersurfman1

That's because it is. Casey Kasem was teh voice of hundreds of characters.

  • Comment removed

  • The voices sound the same because Casey Kasem is the voice of both.

  • @postersurfman1 that's because casey casem (voice of shaggy from scooby doo) did his voice. he also did robin's voice on the superfriends.

  • @postersurfman1 ...same voice actor.....

  • @postersurfman1 - that's because Robin (in both this series and "Super Friends") was voiced by the great Casey Kasem. who also gave Scooby-Doo's Shaggy his voice...

  • @postersurfman1 Everybody that's been paying attention already knows that, as they're both voiced by Casey Kasem.

  • @postersurfman1 he's voiced by the same actor, casey kassem

  • @postersurfman1 That's because their both voiced by the same person. Casey Kasem

  • @postersurfman1 That's because it is the same voice. Casey Kasem did the voice of both Shaggy and Robin.

  • i bet those henchmen were paid quite alot of money to wear those uniforms...

or they were gay. hard to tell.

  • "Forget it chum, we'll get him next time"... this was obviously the period in joker's history when he wasn't a mass murdering psychopath, otherwise batman wouldn't be so relaxed that he got away lol.

  • man, the batman and robin punchlines were the worst
