@imasex69er For a period of time I thought that as well. But then I started talking to a gay guy. As a child he knew that he was attracted to other males but he thought that he was the only one in the world.
As heterosexuals we are presented in our media with role models that show us what it means to be attracted to the opposite sex and through example explore how one romances and negotiates the emotional minefield of adolescence as a heterosexual. Gay teens don't have that opportunity.

@MrsJoeJonasX0X The funny thing is, his songs represent human emotion just as truthfully (especially the ones immediately after his marriage and shortly after his divorce) as experiencing it yourself. "A Thousand Words" is probably my favorite Savage Garden song and I found myself -sad- to notice that he had suffered a divorce shortly before recording it...

False. People don't consciously make the decision to fall in love--it just happens. Sometimes with a man, sometimes with a woman but either way it is beautiful and worthy of respect and recognition.

The closest they came was with 'To the Moon and Back' which I LOVE, aswell as this, but Savage Garden were and still are for me, one of the best bands who came out towards the end of the 21st Century!
