I love my FJ, bought it brand new in ')7, and immediately modified it. Owned Jeeps my whole life till I bought a cruiser, I'll never diss jeeps but I'll never go back either!
They look pretty good but you have limited visability with these trucks and dealerships will not let you test drive these things before you buy them, I would rather have an old FJ40, they are more nimble and more durable.
@rctrucknut I test drove three. One stock 4wd, one Trail Team edition, and the all white one that I bought. You are correct about the visibility, but I'm getting used to where the blind spots are. I drove a '70 FJ40 for 10 years. Archaic, brutish, no power anything. Loose steering. 33 12.5 tires. Drove from San Diego to Ixtapa, Mexico to surf. I'm 51 now, and wouldn't do that again. The new FJ is sluggish, good mileage, super smooth, super capable. Great on and off road. Both are important.
Cool vid. FJ rocks. But Jeesh. Next time use Windows Movie Maker, shorten the song instead of playing the same vid twice to fill the song...or you could actually shoot 4:54 of original content....
