  • замечательная еврейская музыка!!!akkompanimenty concerto Mozart for horn 1/2/3/4/+rondo mp3 /site/google/zaharoffmusic/ -yoi tube/zekovka1988/

  • I love this piece. You did a very good job with it.

  • see she is not so bad. good. but i thik she is fast .

  • see she is not so bad.

  • BLACKOPS ZOMBIE MAPS RULE

  • I think that you have good potential to be a fine horn player... keep at it!!! Do you like the Yamaha? Are you using the Yamaha mouth piece as well? I like the Holton horns myself & the Jupiters are a close 2nd. Don't care too much for the Holton mouthpiece though but I use a Jupiter 3 mouthpiece w/ what ever horn I play...

  • @Doorny1 Yeah... I played on a Giardinelli C4 for awhile till I tried the Jupiter 3... I switch back & forth. I have 7 horns ( 2 single & 5 double) I have a Conn 6D also & an Olds & Son (1963) which is also a nice playing horn... Good luck w/ ur playing... I,ll look for more vids ok?

  • @Doorny1 ewww, juiter horns

  • Good job putting the mic in front of you and not directly behind the bell. Makes a nicer recording.

  • This rocks. I want to play with you again dammit.

  • Pretty good playing there. I need to improve alot to get into a good college. Im working on plating all the major's 2 octaves and 3 if possible. Tot an easy task but i must do it. Good luck to you. You sound beautiful.

  • that was cool

  • hola.. mi nombre es chiclanadavid... me encanta el solo que interpretas :-)

    como puedo conseguir esas partituras..

Enhorabuena y que te haga una buena interprete de la trompa.

  • What make of horn are you playing for this video? It seems like it has a larger bell than most...

  • @PAHSbandman It's a Yamaha 667. It's actually smaller than most horns I've played...it probably just looks big because I'm under five feet tall! :)

  • @shpadoinkle12 I'm under 5 feet tall, too! Hoorrraaayy for SHORT HORN PLAYERS! I'm 4'11". :)

You should check out my videos...I'm gonna be uploading more soon when I get a new microphone cause my other on broke...;)

  • @shpadoinkle12 ha.....under 5 feet, but you soung gud miss

  • beautiful!!!

  • woooaaaa

  • Nice :-)

  • i play the f.horn too, good job

  • WOW! you are good!! I can not play anything close to that!!!! GREAT JOB!!:P

  • O.o...goodness. Great job! :D I love..everything. heh:)

I'm never really accurate to play anything lower than Low C. :( Keep up the good work :D

  • Really great playing! Yamaha makes good motorcycles but started out making pianos. Look at their logo, three tuning forks.

  • how did you mute it with your hand and it stay the same note? normally, if you mute it without an actual mute, it goes up a half step.

  • so you would play a semi tone lower... :)

  • when u play a note mute it does go up a half step but u play the fingerings for the half step either flat or sharp and the note sounds like the regular note :D my band teacher just taught us that lol we r playing a song with a muted horn lol well hope that helps

  • you have to use the fingerings half a step down, i learned that from a book :)

  • Very well done. You are very talented. :)

  • wow i play but nothing like that great job

  • Great sound, it is so hard to have complete control and security when playing the french horn.

  • WOW!! really good job! i just love playing my horn!! the only thing is it was kind of weird when you were playing.. like every note you were changing positions?? anyways i love your tone and i hope to play as good as you some day!!

  • hey i think you did good and i also play and i like how easy you can get from lower noted to higher notes, thats my problem alot of the time butim gettig better at it, and i found your piece on the internet and im practiceing it now andi listen to yours to see if im playing it right, my band teacheris really happy =)

  • very nice, I just started playing. I love Horn its aweosme

  • GOOD GOb!;) I also play

  • wow im impressed i play the french horn and i know how difficult it can be nicely done!!!

  • you are great

    the french horn is diffacult

  • great, clean octave jump at :55.

  • That would be called a major sixth; almost an octave.

  • Oops, sorry about that. I was paying too much attention to how clean it was, if thats a good excuse at all. Haha

  • you are very small lol.

  • dude all the comments are like " You're amazing' and I saw yours and I couldn't stop laughing. :) You're funny

  • lol thanks.

  • i thought you were a real inspiration and good on you for having the confidence to put this video on you tube!!! keep up the good work! :)

  • It's good played but you sit like a turtle ^^

    Try to sit straighter

    greeetz

  • I wish i could play as well as you do

  • It sounds like a bassoon.

  • Quite a good sound in spite of your posture! Experiment with off-the-leg or playing standing up; I think it can improve your air support.

  • freshman! i know people with degrees that wouldn't play as you

  • thanks so much!!

  • Terrific!! My daughter is 11 and I have shown her this video as a example of fine french horn playing. Your dynamics, tone, and articulation are wonderful. Good work! Please, keep it up!

  • OMG u r so great!!!!!!!

i play french horn and im 3rd chair in my school band... out of 3 people

    any tips on sounding good?

  • Bring the instrument to you. I was working with a girl at my old high school and she would change her posture every time, even if she brought the instrument to her. Once we got her feet flat on the ground, her neck and leadpipe straight and centered, and sitting with her back straight, but comfortable, her sound and note accuracy improved instantaneously. If you don't have anyone willing to watch your posture, practice with a mirror.

  • oooo, I know two people with yamaha 668's and I want one so bad! They're really good horns. 667's are not bad. I'm playing on a king that is older than I am right now.

  • LOL. i played my schools king, I hated it. they aren't god horns at all. I just got a Conn 8D. They make such a difference.

  • No, retired professional that just picked up the horn again.

You should start really thinking about grad school now. It's not too early. I sent your video to a good friend of mine, Jeff Nelsen at IU. He is an incredible teacher and talent.

Take your horn off your knee, stand up, expose yourself to as much music as you can, and most of all, keep up the good work.

  • Good deal! Who are you studying with and where?

  • you sound great! You'd sound even better if you played with the bell off your knee, or even better yet, standing up. Sitting down hunched over is probably limiting your air support and resonance. Your professor is doing you a disservice to not force you to play off the knee!

  • eh don't worry about it, they make good stuff (look at all the corps that use their drums and brasslines)

anyway, who said you should you put the mic that close? I think you sound great, but i can hear how close it is to the mic so i know it's not true tone...well all no french horns are not up close and personal instruments.

  • what kind of horn is that?

  • You have a really good sound!! I'm also a French Horn Player...it's nice to hear music played like that with a horn!:)

  • Hey, you play great. I'm a French Horn player, too. Rock on lol. I played Andromeda Serenade by Beethoven, but I had the flu on the day of my competition. Got a 1 though.

  • GR8T!

  • dang i couldent hear

  • Good Job! ~ Fellow French Horn Player
