I hate how Laura doesn't stand up for herself and put luke in his place. I know exactly what i would say to luke. He seems to twist laura's words around so that he's the victim now. Notice how laura came in all mad (and rightfully so) and by the end, she feels bad. makes me mad.
Matuaty2 I agree with you that if she was able to tell him about Stavros,than she could have told him about Nikolas and her affair with Stefan,the problem is neither Nik or Stefan were created yet.Can you honestlly tell me that Laura would be so happy and carefree with Luke and her family whil her son is in some Greek island?Stavros and Yani would have mentioned him,Stavros would have told Luke about Nikolas and he would have been been treating Laura with him.
No way are they even, laura thought luke was dead when she married Stavros and conceived Nikolas. She returned to PC because she learned he was alive. Yes she didn't tell him about Nik, but I can understand why she didn't, frankly. JMO
@1964nickel In my opinion, if she could tell Luke about marrying Stavros, she could tell him about having a child with another man. It's not like she chose to make love to Stavros or have his child. It happened and if she was going to tell Luke the truth, she should have told him the whole truth. And he shouldn't be putting her in the unbearable position he's putting her into. Just my opinion here.
@Matuatay2 I just keep remembering that '83 return. I still have three video tapes that were recorded back then and I watched those confession scenes over and over many times through the years. Luke had to pull everything out of her, bit by bit. Watching it now I can see how having Nik actually fits with how she acted. Laura was wrong, yes. She was immature. but she was only 19 when she was taken to that island. 20 when told Luke was dead. At 46 I know how young that really is.

It really damanged his ego when he learned that she slept with another man and had that man's baby never mind that she really had no choice. Luke even goes so far to manipulate his son. I find this side of Luke hard to stomach. To me, he is not a likable character.

Some say the when Luke learned of Nikolas' existence that was the breakdown of their marriage. I think that the breakdown of their marriage started a year before that b/c of the violence he brought into their lives. This not the same Luke we saw in the 80s - like when they thought Stavros was dead at the bottom of the stairs, and Luke wanted to get an ambulance,
Uhhhh Stefan left the part about Stavros getting ready to rape Laura while Luke looked on ttied up thats how Stavros met his demise...he always seem to leave that part out....
Yep the Cassadines always have their own version of things that happened. Just like when Helena tells Lucky that Luke and Laura hunted Mikkos down without mercy and murdered him in cold blood. Fascinating, eh?
