  • @busboysanalogy I grew up in an eastern NC Suburb, and by comparison, those guys on the McD's commercials are pansies. I still regularly catch & eat chicken nuggets; no big whup, and that shit is good eating. Living off McDonald's isnt hard, and you dont have to be in tip-top condition to survive. You just need to know what to order and whether to supersize it, and know whats tastey and whats tasteless filth.

People survive off McDs here in the USA... everywhere else is spoiled by the land.

  • can you go to SERE after boot camp or do you have to wait ? im going into the airforce to be a AERIAL GUNNER. But i really want to go threw SERE . please help !

  • @MrHippekiller you have to go through sere to be an aerial gunner. all aircrew and other usaf personnel go through it

  • look at thoes little kids?...and black ops train with them... haha pathetic

  • @nick61729 too much call of duty?

  • O.O I wanna hear more about the bear!

  • im leaving for basic may 31st then to fairchild for SERE... im looking forward to it.

  • SERE blows, I know a few guys who went through it and a few more who are gonna do it, and all I hear is that it is a shitfest. Granted, they are pretty damn happy upon completion of the course and don't regret it. Don't diss on SERE or anyone who does it, it takes serious balls

  • I went through SERE school at Fairchild AFB, and it was the toughest thing I ever went through in my life, these instructors are the best, hardcore through and through so don't FUCK with them!!

  • All branches have a role to play and those of you who have never been up long before the dawn, humped all day, ops at night and hump back in by the hour you set out the day before... eat shit!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Special Forces (aka Green Berets) in the Army? I think you guys mean Special Operations. If I remember correctly all special operations groups from our military branches go through SERE training but there are 3 or 5 levels of SERE training intensity. The main ones who go through the most intense level are PJ's and Pilots. If my information is incorrect please let me know =).

  • @rawbutto youre information is incorrect

  • DUDE, Rowley you jumped right behind me 5 times in airborne school what are you doing in youtube videos haha. Oglevie you too you were 3 people behind me out the bird. Wlilkins 2 people behind me.

  • DUDE, Rowley you jumped right behind me 5 times in airborne school what are you doing in youtube videos haha.

  • Ok I have a pretty good idea what the PJ's are all about but I'm confused about SERE. I thought they were instructors, looking at some of these comments it's like they are operators as well. Is this just from people who don't know or am I misunderstanding?

  • "Things most of the AF doesn't come close to doing"??? Couldn't you say the same about Marines? YES. And PJ's DO NOT have medical degrees. They're not even paramedics, they are EMT's. Every person in the military has a critical role to play, regardless of their field. And I just ADORE the comments from the civilian peanut gallery. What a joke.

  • @coricidincrush lol no kidding, I do think PJs do have their paramedic license just FYI but they still rely on the medics (and we only have EMT-B certifications) more than themselves from what I hear

  • @ALICECOOPERFANATIC absolutley not, i hate this bullshit about i heard this and I heard that...i actually have worked with them and their medical knowledge and confidence that of a complete proffessional. They are really humble guys and know their shit

  • Even marines and the SEALS need help from SERE and PJs.

  • A few more college hours and I'm gone.

A beat off while watching that video.

  • i dont get it why the military makes you wear fucking botty shorts

  • Man you guys had it easy. Mark Rader Class 80-02

  • 96-02. Bend, grab, speak. My name is on the K desk. Winter class is harder than summer class. It's wierd to see SERE videos out there for public consumption.

  • ATTENTION IN THE FACILITY!!!!!!

  • I should be shipping in October and I'm going to try and be a sere instructor.. I mean wow. The trainings intense. But oh well :)

  • @kinghumperdink No, try not! Do,or do not. There is no try. ;)

  • i leave for bootcamp in twelve days. i have to do this for the aircrew program and was scared shitless. I dont know if its just bc im a woman but other branches were telling me stuff that almost made me wanna find another job. thankfully i finally talked to a woman who went through it. She said its hard as hell and you hate it but its more mental than anything. so we'll see!

  • Excellent video, but it still didn't do that tough course much justice. I graduated from ITB ( now STS) Class 85-01 and respect anyone that can finish this six month course. Although there are extreme physical requirements, the mental aspect exceeds them in ever area. I had to "dig deep" many times to stick with it.

  • Looks like camp for yuppie kids that grew up in the city.

  • @Txman1996 you should experience the resistance training that they dont show you

  • lol im going to be here in 2 years !!

  • Those Airmen learned more and endured more physical punishment, and showed more intestinal fortitude in that incredible short amount of time than most Marines (who sorry to say are still conventional legs) do in their first term of service.

    - D, 3rd Ranger Bn

  • Some Marines more than others, though...

  • We're all on the same team dumbasses. Why don't you go hate on the Arabs that will rape your mother and make your sister watch instead of talking shit about the Air Force.

  • wow yall are sad getting on the usaf like that they are just as important if not more when the ground troops need air support or an ass load of ordinance dropped who do they call ...?

  • @TrYaBuRRiTo987 so right! these guys go out with spec ops to drop precise ordinance

  • @TrYaBuRRiTo987 some times the navy and Marine corps

  • lol on all these fucking haters on the usaf just because they dont have an asvab score high enough to be army infantry much less marines or usaf janitors haha bitches send me a picture in of you with your beret and then you can talk shit

  • Like you said talking shit doesn't get these retards anywhere. Its what the SERE guys go through for training alone that makes me respect them.

  • You have not one clue of what you are talking about. Your attempt at a sentence barely even makes any sense.

  • @ractyarc25 your a retard dude who the hell do you think gives all the air support to ground troops you fucking moron...plus SERE specialists train ground troops on surviving and making it home after a crash landing behind enemy territory your a douchbag and should DIAF

  • Im in the ARMY now and i am getting out to join the AIRFORCE....BOOYA

  • you are clinically retarded

  • @tapoutdude08 should join us in the CORPS!

  • You need to research AF PT standards!Plus your next comment...Have you ever heard or Air Interdiction, where the AF softens an area prior to the arrival of ground forces. That's right...AF pilots, fly into threat area's with air defense so that ground forces can safely maneuver.

  • No they don't. Not that I know of anyways, and I have several family members in the AF.

  • AIR Force...what the hell!!!pussy's ARMY leads the way

  • Ractyarc25 you need to keep your mouth closed until a topic comes up that you actual know anything about.

The USAF is one of the pickiest branches of military to get into. Unlike other branches the USAF likes their recruits to be smart and not juvenile misfits.

  • lol nooo ita uamc and USAF then maybe navy army= Arent Ready to be Marines YET

  • Considering the fact that a SERE Specialist could very likely rape and murder anyone in the Army without trying, I would watch your mouth. :D

The last guy in the Army I met looked about 50 lbs. overweight. I personally can't believe your Physical Fitness standards are so low.

  • i don't know why you put rape in there but I get your point

  • This is Airforce

  • been there done that... Bought the T-shirt :D

  • where was the Evasion Resistance and Escape?...SERE specialist training must be different than SERE school

  • isn't that shit supposed to be classified? im pretty sure if they show that stuff on the internet then everyone would know how to prevent people from resisting and escaping

  • The survival part is not, the ERE is though.

The Navy also has SERE Instructors.

  • yeah i was sarcastically responding to hajjkiller. Wow so does the Navy have this as an entry level job? or do you have to be a SEAL or something?

  • No not a SEAL! It is not an entry level billet == after a tour or two you apply for SERE school to be an Instructor, and if selected you head to your training == so most of the instructors have been in for a few years or so.

  • o ok thanks. this kind of stuff intrests me so its something I might want to do

  • my cuz just joined and after his a.i.t. he went to sere and that was maybe 6mo after basic, so you dont have to be a grizzled veteran to go through sere

  • they only showed the shit anyone could learn from asurvival book. the hardcore shit they didnt show

  • Here's the thing, SERE do get deployed with special forces for certain missions. But they would go with combat controllers or para-rescue, they are specialists just like the other guys so yes they are special forces.

  • I leave for basic in August and SERE school afterwards, I can't wait to go! AND CONGRATULATIONS CLASS!!!!

  • I have to go through SERE training...I'm a bit nervous but stoked as hell. Hooah

  • Think of AF PJ's as airborne-qualified, EMT-abilitied Rangers. They're badass. I'm an Army guy all the way, but PJs are some tough mother f*ckers.

  • Comment removed

  • some do. I was at the recruitment office yesterday and the recruiter told me that some do classified assignments

  • the recruiter lied.

  • oh, btw... sere is not any type of special forces. its just a school like airborne school, in a sense. all it does is better you as a soldier. and its not air force only. im in the army and ill be going to SERE school sometime in the near future.

  • Whats your MOS in army? Just curious.

  • i went to airborne school with cesnik... i bet he doesnt even know hes on here.

  • where can i find the 10th episode video on the internet.. watched 9 but cant find the last one >:/

  • is this for special forces? cus these guys look to ripped to be air force, not that there arnt ripped pilots, but they are ALL ripped, and there are no women

  • The Air Force is a little weird like that. You have SERE instructors and Pararescuemen who do things most of the AF doesn't come close to doing. You also have security forces who also have it tough. The point is, just because they're the Air Force doesn't mean they have any easier than any other branch of the military. I've heard the attrition rate for Pararescuemen is higher than that of Navy Seals. Pararescuemen are virtually the equivalent of Navy Seals with medical degrees.

  • 90% washout rate, really intense training for PJ's.

  • @plutonium93437 its not that they do not have it tough. But alot of us Infantry, Cavalry, SF, Rangers etc. Get a little tired of the shit-talking of the security forces and the pararescue especially. The PJ's show up to the first week of Ranger school they leave and then bitch about not getting the tab? Sorry wrong answer. I have respect for what they do but some of them just need an attitude adjustment.

  • @plutonium93437 Don't forget the combat control guys, they are pretty bad @ss too.

  • Comment removed

  • pj attrition at pipeline/indoc is 25-40% higher than bud/s for seals ;)

  • Combat control, Pjs, tacp Sere their all tough guys. Sere and tacp arent special forces though.

  • lol yes of course they arent last i checked special forces was army im sure the SOF TACPs would love your comment lol ps SSGT Gassner is awesome any of you guys are lucky enough when you go to SERE and get him your in for a good time.

  • nah, i wasnt putting any field down dont get me wrong im just saying their not with STS.

  • Really cause last i checked theyre were TACP's that were on STS's and theyre are going to be even more soon in the coming yr might want to go do your homework dude its probably one of the most under appreciated careerfields among the army and the AF esp since they never seem to get enough recongintion nor funding

  • Comment removed

  • they are pj's

  • LOL It's the Air Force Special Force's, SERE. You think the guys in The Air Force Special Forces are less than the other brances? lol They're still specail forces, and bad as hell.

  • SERE RESISTANCE training is classified.

  • some of it is, but not all.

  • hey emkey.

  • That's definately a kick ass job. Tough school too. However, you can see that these guys don't have quite attitude as guys who will be going downrange.

  • *quite the same attitude

  • I was naval aircrew and went to sere in maine. What I did not see here is when they treat you as POW's and beat your friends and won't stop till you give them info, which you can't.. fun stuff.

  • fuck yeah, lol, af intel class of 08-06 rt is fun for the whole family!

  • Im goig to SERE school on the 9th. RT lab should be fun... lol

  • My son graduates next week as a SERE Specialist! I am so proud of him. I can't wait to see his graduation!

  • One of the BEST videos ive seen...Thnx..

  • Imakillayo- If you dont know about thier combat experience, then you dont have the clearance to know. :)

    Great video guys!

  • They're trained as instructors fucktard.

  • Don't roll out! youll have to do it all over again!!!!

  • You make me proud guys! ALWAYS AIR FORCE!!!

  • these guys teach the best training you can get as an aircrew

  • Congrats to my good buddy Carl, and the rest of the grads.

  • Congratulations to SERE SPECIALIST TRAINING CLASS 08-01 S-V81-A. Keep up the great work. A special Congrats to SSgt Gassner. Maybe one day you will grow up to be just like me. Good Luck to all and enjoy your new careers.

  • hooyah!
