You realise you are spewing utter crap right? Carp is a major food of almost all European countries, especially around Christmas, and if you think all those people are breaking the law you're full of it.

I have also seen at least 3 seperate English cooking shows where the bloke catches a carp and cooks it up... if he was breaking the law I doubt he would be putting it on TV.

Furthermore carp fishing is a big deal in England, and many anglers catch them and take them home.. so it is 100% legal.
