What matters is that they are both happy. Sometimes you can't stay together to make that happen. Jane seems to have a good life. Paul has done good for himself as well.

I have met Jane a couple of times... I was photographing some events she hosted. She was charming to me, and everybody else.... something she didn't have to "work at," it seemed.

part 9..At the time, she knew she was ill, but shed had chemo and her hair was growing back. I thought at the time it was a very chic look. She didnt know she was dying. Im not actually sure she ever knew she was dying. You have a decision to make as a family as to whether you tell someone and the doctors leave it to you, the immediate family.
part10..I talked it over with the doctor and he said: I dont think she would want to know. She is such a strong, forward-thinking lady and such a positive girl that I dont think it would do any good. She was fighting right up to the end.
part12...Even on the day before she died, she was out on horseback. She loved riding so much. Sometimes shed get up on her a horse and Id say: You dont want to get down, do you? She preferred it up there than on the ground.

from Patti Boyds Bio...Paul McCartney wrote several love songs for Linda (strangely, none for Heather). Among them are I Will, The Lovely Linda and My Love. But the best, undoubtedly, is Maybe I'm Amazed, written in 1969 as the Beatles were breaking up and Linda was proving his anchor. Even George Harrison - who knew a thing or two about love songs - admitted it was one of the greatest songs McCartney wrote.

Why beautiful girls think they need plastic surgery is something I'll never understand. Jane, now in her 60s, is very attractive, but she looks like a completely different woman. I wonder if she's truly happy with how it turned out.

Linda is dead guys, you don't have to like her, but have some respect.
I'm sure Paul loved both of them, but sometimes things happen and stuff doesn't work out which is what happened with Jane.
Everything happens for a reason, and clearly Jane and Paul didn't end up staying together for a reason. Nothing is wrong with either of these beautiful women, so please just be respectful and stop fighting. Do you know what the beatles stood for? Peace, try it.

The romantic Beatles... Even though this song is from Revolver, I often think first of the ultra-class 1977 2-LP set known as Love Songs! Why won't it come out on CD officially? I loved how glossy the cover looked under the wrapping. I just wanted to tear it open so that I could play it forever. Loved it so much!
Jane looks so lovely in these pictures. Was she Paul's very first REAL love? I wonder what caused her and Paul to break up. Imagine if she had been the woman who married him.

No: Paul and Jane were living together, talking about marriage. She was an actress with her own career. Definitely with Paul, but not his satellite. She came home from a working weekend, and found another girl in their flat, wearing her bathrobe. She took the hint and left. Story is told in their approved biography.

while married to Ringo. The marriage was officially over well before her death in 1994. Patti Boyd Harrison had no reason to lie about infidelity in print. She did not take Eric Clapton seriously otherwise.

She was, and still is, a beautiful woman. They were young, and Paul had thousands of women throwing themselves at him. I'm surprised he settled down with Linda. I'm glad she's done so well.

part2..Its now 10 years since she died and probably 40 years since we first met. I can still recall our first meeting. It was at a London club, the Bag O Nails, when Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames were playing one night. Across a crowded room, as they say, our eyes met and the violins started playing but they were drowned out by, of all people, Georgie Fame. Another northerner.

part 8..She didnt go on TV and say This is who I am hello and try to ingratiate herself. We didnt need to do that it was our life, not theirs. We were too busy living it. When anybody came to the house and met her, they thought she was fantastic. She was just a great person to hang out with: very funny, very smart and very talented. She could just as easily talk to a local postman as a New York art dealer.

part 9..At the time, she knew she was ill, but shed had chemo and her hair was growing back. I thought at the time it was a very chic look. She didnt know she was dying. Im not actually sure she ever knew she was dying. You have a decision to make as a family as to whether you tell someone and the doctors leave it to you, the immediate family.

from Patti Boyds Bio...Paul McCartney wrote several love songs for Linda (strangely, none for Heather). Among them are I Will, The Lovely Linda and My Love. But the best, undoubtedly, is Maybe I'm Amazed, written in 1969 as the Beatles were breaking up and Linda was proving his anchor. Even George Harrison - who knew a thing or two about love songs - admitted it was one of the greatest songs McCartney wrote.
