Someone please let me know how this compares to Novation Ultranova, Axiom Pro, Venom, AKAI Miniak...I know that Venom is a emulator and Axiom is pure Midi. Ultranova is the real deal but costs more as well. AKAI i dunno took much but its cheap on amazon. So far I like this arturiia model and ultra nova (expensive tho)
That was the coooooooolest music gear ad I've seen recently :) You definitelly got attention! The Minibrute ad was also not bad but this video now really rocks! Keep going!
I'm an English teacher living in Korea, they don't manufacture or distribute ANY pro audio hardware or software! I guarantee you didn't have to learn Korean to solve the problems with your USB controller/VST integration! Further more, any Korean setting up a home studio will invariably refer to instructions written in ENGLISH! Everyone uses English!
can i use this keyboard without the software at all? i don't even want to use anything within the software. i just want the keyboard to use with logic. can i use the dedicated knobs that say cutoff for instance and map it to say delay. can i map the knobs and sliders to anything i want? thank you!
Capitalism isn't an idea of man. The concept of capitalism is entirely defined and forumulated under the auspices of the Bible. That is to say the compilation known as the King James Bible, not Qu'ran or something of that nature.
What's the deference between the laboratory and the v-collection bc theirs a 49key with the lab and it cost 349$ and then theirs a 49key with the v-collection that cost 649$ on eBay and they both say the same thing on what they do..went on website and the same thing there too...?
@lvrsnvy One is the keyboard + the 3500 playable sounds, and the other is the keyboard + 3500 playable sounds AND V-Collection. V-Collection is all the full versions of the synths, and is (at least over here in the UK) about £439's worth by itself! If you own V-Collection AND Analog Experience, you can actually open up the full synths within Analog Experience which lets you go way more in-depth in terms of editing, but you still get the nice browsing of Analog Experience.
I have the 49 key model and it's a good compromise in size. Tasty sounds & so easy to use. My Axiom Pro 49 is now redundant - just use the Arturia and a Novation X-Station 25 to control my DSI Mopho.
I have an Arturia Spark and it is by far the all round best drum machine i have used (except for 808 for sentimental value) it has everything i needed and its good for live use. Now i am looking for a new synth i trust that this will be awesome.
I really like Arturia's products and I have almost everything they make. I have the 49 key version of this board and it is awesome. You have an amazing amount of sounds that come with the package that are tweakable to a degree, but if you have the software for all their synths then you can edit everything. Since all their synth software is first rate, you will probably want to have it altho it is not necessary to get a huge amount of sonic amazement out of this product.
Wait so just to get it clear before i pick up this synth. Does this synth already comes with the sound patches of the Minimoog, Moog Modular, ARP 2600, Jupiter 8, Prophet, and the CS-80?? And do I can also just connect this synth to an amp and start jamming out without a computer/laptop too btw? or is this just a studio synth? lol
@XxChrisxXBedofRazors I think it's just studio synth, also known as a midi controller. I think they call it a synth because it has knobs just like a real synth.
@MarkyGoldstein I assure its not. I used to work for Guitar Center and the 25 &49 were heavy. Built very solid. I'm sick because I've been wanting a 61 for sometime now.
@MarkyGoldstein I own the 49 Key Laboratory hardly cheap or plastic its actually aluminum and wood, a very solid keyboard. I also own the Akai mpk49, a Yamaha Motif XS6, and an Old Ensoniq VFXsd, and I use the this Arturia as my main controller because it does not take up to much space on my desk, the pads feel nice, and 3500 presets will take a while to go through, I have this synced with the Spark a great combination.
@teacee I agree, i own one to and theres nothing cheap looking about it, it looks class with the wooden sides and the keys are prefect. And it runs like a dream in logic for me

Arturia, I just bought your bloody 49 key one! Why aren't we notified of future product releases to help one decide which is more appropriate!!
mimoocho 4 months ago
This is probably the best available midi keyboard on the market. I have the 32 note version and it's been working like a Swiss watch.
Arturia, are you also going to make an 88 or 76 in the future?
hanibal207 4 months ago
This is great!
I 've been waiting for something like this and i'm going to buy it, but ...
are there any plans for a 88-weighted key version?
