It jams every 15 rounds. I bought last december 2010 . returned to Stag. have not heard any thing from them since. Bad Gun bad service. Do not buy from Stag.
And as for piston AR's, id even go as far a puttin this new Stag over LWRC, as LWRC has had some issues in the past with reliability., and with all the fancy new piston rifles out there for thousands n thousands, granted HK416 is the best m4sys in the world prob, id go with the product Stag makes over all others., there jus tough rugged reliable weapons, guaranteed this thing is still runnin when all ur other piston ar's r shut down., Jus get rid of that crappy roll mark Stag., I hate the deer
yes the comment about CMT makin em is 100% accurate, Stags are prob tops jus behind Colt with best rifle under 1200., i have one of there lefty's n its flawless., i would put Stag over Bushmaster,RRA,Armalite,jus about anything but a few., it goes like this with pure milspec non billet lower/rifles.., KAC,LMT,COLT,Stag,DD, well, thats my top 5 anyway.., whatcha guys think bout that >? whats ur top 5
I just bought mine directly to them with the addition of a Samson Quad rail. Cant wait for it, only a few days and I will have in my hands. look my channel I will be uploadin a vid
what is little know about stag, is their parent company, CMT, has been making AR15 parts Pre-Vietnam.. and they have produced about 80% of the parts you will find in the US-Based AR15 Manufacture's guns out there... Stag arms is a branch of CMT, which came about in 2003, to help supply the demand after 9/11 and the release of clinton's Assault rifle ban.
=) Just some helpful words for those that are considering Stag Arms.
@bigbluemsp I put the Magpul MOE plastic handguards to keep the weight down vs aluminum handguards and the MOE allows you to still ad rails which I did already. I had to dremel the MOE handgurds to fit though since I didnt want to wait for them to officially come out this summer. lol.
Wish they would make it in a slightly larger caliber.

Eliminates it. IMO. My Dad has 1200 rounds in his without issue.

NOBODY that I know has any use for the standard old fashion handguards. Then again in my job with Lasers, Lights and stuff this is useless.
Nice gun but it should only be offered with a rail system.

love it, high quality, low price. Ashame it doesn't come with the quad rails as standard.
