do not allow anyone (staff or not) to sit on speakers or under lighting

no problem to let people under the lighting , just make sure everything has safety cables and good trussclamps.

sitting on subs , well its maybe not the best idea , but the subs can handle the weight easily. so no problem at all

I have no idea how you run your intimidator in different moving direction

To get the Intimidators to do Opposite Turn on Only the 10th dipswitch on both! they will switch between regular and opposite!

How are the lights being run? Software control or hardware control? What controller?

Is haze being used? The beams are really standing out, if your using haze what model hazer are you using?

hardware control with beat-rec (internal processor), so no controller.

Of course haze is in use else you'd not be able to see the beams at all, but nearly any hazer will give you good effects, it's mostly about the fluid (the more expensive, the higher the quality)
