I lost my browser. I ultimately had to downgrade to 4.7 and configure again. I'm stuck at this point as I can not find an advance tab. Thanks again!

Yes, you can use go phone and the internet, but you may have some problems because go phone doesn't have data plans anymore or if they do it's not compatible with this and will charge significant amounts of money to your phone! Other than that text and talk works just fine no problems!

@whinley actually i did i called ATT they said to go to the browser press berrys button then options, browser config, then select internet browser, change it to media net, also make sure ur TCP/IP settings are for cingular and make sure u have a BB plan with ATT hope this helped

I am trying to perform this on a storm 9550. I downloaded crackutil but when I try to open it and it asks me for a pssword (which I do not have) I click ok and then I get an error message that says file access denied. I then can't manipulate anything in crack util and it says "retrieving os version" at the bottom. Any suggestions??

mine did the same thing but i went to the blackberry manager and updated the entire phone and everything worked flawlessly, btw, i couldnt understand what he said to delete but i messaged him and he said to delete the "net.rim.browserdeamon" file, then it worked

i took my time last night and wrote down each step in a notebook. checked off each step as i went. everything worked great. to get your at&t service books her link does work. you needto first be logged into crackberry, then the link works. first time i clicked the link it took me to crackberry. but, i did not see at&t service books. i thought WTF! then i just happened to log in went back to my email clicked on the link and the zip file came up. downloaded fine. you must open the zip file to pc.
