I taught it was yours for a second, nomad c still da best all mountain hands down, I own the same hd mojo! But like da nomad better rent the santa cruz, n see da difference! Ibis rides better with dhx air! Ooo yea I highly recomend a fox fork, mostly a float if your not a weenie, anyways nice bike :)
@yetimungrel The only thing that would make Porcupine better would be a little more climbing and a couple of man made obstacles/jumps. But the HD is by far the best bike I have ever ridden with the Remedy coming in at #2. I really want to ride a Pivot too!
The only other bike I considered was the Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon.I went with the Ibis because( IMO ) It climbed a little better. The Nomad was a really close second.
My wife has a Talas 32 w/ 140mm travel on her Yeti and she loves it.Fox has come a long way with there newer shocks.Did you lock out the ProPedal on the Ibis?Mine climbs so well that I never change the settings.
@ultramanmike18 Idid not touch it on either the HD or the SL. The only time could see using it is if you are hammering down on a long fire road climb or something similar. And your right they climb so well its not really needed but is a welcome feature
@ultramanmike18 I have a Talas 32 on my stumpjumper and like it a lot but honestly I never use the travel adjustment. I lock it out on occasion with longer less technical climbs but usually forget to unlock it so I just keep it open all the time now. I liked the rockshox but I would have preferred the Talas b/c IMO its a better shock and has better small bump compliance. The rock shock did not handle the small bumps too well and on long rocky docents my hands would go numb from the vibration
@ultramanmike18 What I like about Ibis is the ability to mix and match components to your liking where as with other brands your stuck with what they give you (house brand stuff) unless you want to shell out for different parts and then you have to sell the originals.
I have to agree with you.. The Mojo HD in my opinion is by far the best all mountain bike I have ever ridden.I have the same bike with the FOX Talas 36 front shock ,XT components,RockShox Reverb Seatpost and Chris King hubs. The HD climbs really well and goes down even better!
@ultramanmike18 Thanks man. I was shocked at how well it pedaled and climbed. As of right now this will probably be my next bike. Although i really do like the Trek Remedy 9.9 and the Specialized Stumpjumper EVO too.

What did you think of the Rockshox front fork?Have you ever ridden a bike with the Talas 36 and if so how would you compare them...

Those are two very nice bikes but I would stick with the MOJO..I live in Park City and there is nothing in the area that bike cant handle.
