  • This is great , use hawaiian remy from miami hair outlet .com use code sandy10 for best prices

  • I'm looking for a place to do this. What extensions do you use does it matter? And can you do the same thing with "thick white hair"

  • does yur hair have to be relaxed to be braided gor a weave or can it be natrual !!

  • it seen like it takes forever im gettin my done oh yea love the music

  • Very neat!

  • Just how long did this take? lol

  • When are you going to make some new videos, do you do quick weaves are partial weaves?

  • These are the cleanest braids i've ever seen lol

  • ouch looks pain ful

  • beautiful braids :-)

  • that girl looks like my sister thats crazi lol

  • how much do she charge

  • please i look for here to learn how to weave and to put extension in london area

  • Will you ever post a tutorial on how you achieved this...mainly the back to finish it off? There have been several request. Thanks

  • Your braids are a little large for a flat straight weave style don't you think...

  • Nope. It worked out just fine.

    ~L.37~

  • This is exactly the same size i do my cane rows,They look like the perfect size for a sew in weave, any smaller can put too much pressure on the hair when combing or brushing the weave.

  • This video answered so many questions! Thanks so much!

  • o so she sewd the remaining tail? awesome

  • thanks so much for posting this, ive had acouple friendsw ask me to do sew -ins but i never never how to finish the braiding so that there wasnt a tail like thing

  • can you have short hair and get sew ins? i mean, hair that doesn't come past your earlobes.

  • I think as long as it can still be braided.

  • yes, you can. The person doing your sew in can add hair to do your corn rows then sew your hair in

  • Yes, if it's too short to catch on a braid, the stylist may use synthetic hair to braid your hair. That makes the braid strong enough & thick enough for a sew in.

  • Wish we could have seen the style after the being shown the braiding technique.

  • ? Not sure what you mean, but the style is shown in video 5.

    ~L.37~

  • what is the name of this song i love it

  • There is a must read book for the hairstylist coming out of school called "From the bowl to the chair" a must read for 9.95

  • i got dizzy watchin! lol but honestly your braiding is superb and u should consider doing a complete video and u could market it maybe start on ebay, because there is a need to know how to do this kind of thing especially with the economy so bad a lot of people r doing it themselves, that way u get paid and help others @ the same time.

  • hey how do you sew in the weave on the zig zag part of her head?

  • hi, just curious...what is the perimeter of the hair left out for?Is that so it can cover tracks if worn up.

Im not by any means ridiculing your technique, im more interested, as I wanna start doing my weaves myself!

  • Yes, that is the reason why. You are not ridiculing at all.

    ~L.37~

  • im likein the blouse that u have on did you did it or u bought it jus as it is? great video

  • loved it !!!!!!!!!!! Hair job, music, laughter, reading book in the back, and rubbing of the eyes everything. Let the church say amen !!!!!!!!

  • Thanks!

  • hey ... how do you normaly braid your normal hair like that?... like i mean ur natural hair?... how much does it cot to braid it at a solon?... like only half of it..then leave the rest of ur hair haning down

  • what kind of hair did you use ? and can you do other styles to it, like puliing it up in a pony?

  • Do I have to braid everything, or can i just braid 2 or 3 lines in the back ?

  • You don't have to do it like this, but you do need more than 2 or 3 braids.

    ~L.37~

  • awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks!

    ~L.37~

  • haha u do my friend u love god and u can do hair good. i wish i had u to do mine cause im tired of doing mine and others.

  • i really want to learn how to do those braids

  • She braided really good....

  • wat about the front part? wat happens 2 that?!! nd how long does it take to this?!!!

  • Once you were done braiding and started to sew in the tracks how did you sew it in once you came to the zig zagged part did you continue in the circular motion or follow the design.

  • When you finished braiding and started to sew the tracks in how did you put the tracks in on the zig zagged part? Did you continue to go around in the circular motion or did you go with the pattern of the braids?

  • take out the church music

  • What's wrong with the church music? You are still breathing aren't you? You can walk, you can talk.... Be grateful. I will NOT take out the "Church" music.

    ~L.38~

  • I agree, everybody plays whatever they want to play on they vids, aint nothing wrong with some Jesus. I can't believe someone actually had the nerve to have something to say about it! I love traditional gospel! :D

  • Thanks, needed to know, just start doing them...

  • how do you hide the hair that is braided off the scalp?

  • you just sew it down on top of the other braids, so u can weave on top of it too.

  • Everyone is acting like they have never seen braids like this for a sewin. Where have you guys been going to get your weaves. if you think these are neat and great you need to come and see my work.

  • stop hating !!!

  • omg she look like she in pain when she gettin her hair braided.i know it hurt sometimes though i get braids alot only in the spring summer and fall.

  • It didn't hurt.... I wasn't probably pretending like it did to mess with her ;-)

    ~L.37~

  • oh thanks this may sound wheird but people seem not to like me that much.

  • are weaves painful?

  • There normally not painful, but they can be if your hair is braided to tight..

    ~L.37~

  • Those braids are very nice, clean and professional. Most hairstylists just glopp them in there and go. You truely Understand that the best foundation for a sew-in is a neat briading style. KUDOS MAMI :-) So if you were doing this for fun, you need to be making you some money (if you haven't already) That gospel was on point, just what I needed this morning. THANK YOU

  • Thanks!

    ~L.37~

    ~L.37~

  • Thanks!

    ~L.37~

  • That girl can braid!

  • I'm about to attempt my first sew in...thanks to this and many other great tutorials here on youTube. I don't know if i can braid my hair in a circular way though.. but I can certainly do it straight back.

Is there a difference in the final result when you cornrow you hair back.. instead of in a circle?

  • cool video, needed that info..thanks a bunch..God bless

    P.S- Great Gospel music...

  • Glad we could help.

    ~L.37~

  • Some my think so, but I think it's pretty much all the same.

can i just ask.. i hope this makes sense & i'm sorry if it has already been asked..

do you know when you get to the end of the strand of hair.. how to you finish it off so it blends in with the rest of the braid and doesn't come loose?!

    :) sarah. xx

  • she sows da loose braids in first before she sews in da weave

  • Let me start off by saying watching ur videos helps me out so much and continue doing a good work!!!! I would like to know is it possible for u guys to make a video on how to braid to sew in weave with the bang on the side? u know the aaliyah look.i want to know how do i suppose to braid the hair in order to sew in that look. thank you!!!!!!!

  • wow love the video it has helped me alot. I have taught myself how to corn-row and watched so many youtube videos on how to sew weave in and it has gotten me far. But i have one question, do you know the braiding pattern for where you leave the natural hair out on the top of the head (parting) so that the client has their own hair as a natural parting and the rest weave? Well holla if you know.

  • I don't know why people put music tot he videos, if your going to share or show a technique explain what your doing.

I think people do stupid things and the music to me was not a smart move

  • WELL HIT MUTE

  • wow thats a great tutorial btw what song is that and who is the artist.thanxx

  • ok it seems easy but we you were done braidin the hair you started sewin, wat exactly were you doin when you did that? and the sew in you did can you pull your hair back into a pony tail, or any style?

  • Great job on braiding. I use this method also. She was probably sewing the loose braid to another braid. But you can also just use a crochet needle and bring the loose braid downwards through the other cornrows. :)

  • lol...POWER!!!!!!!! lol that's alright now!

  • Hey there, It really doesn't matter which way you braid your hair as long as the braids are done correctly. I prefer to braid hair in a circular motion because it is easier to follow the braid when sewing in hair. This is also what I would suggest for a first time attempt. Either way works fine, but everyone have their own preferences. Braiding the hair straight back is quicker and a lot easier for most people to do on their own but, it tend to be difficult to sew in the hair.

    ~L.37~

  • hey what state do u live in i get sew ins and i've been trying to find sum 1 who does it the way i want it and umm yea dats a negative

  • hey im from london (UK). i would really like 2 no which is the best way 2 braid the hair under the weave, shud it be done vertically or round?

Its just the 1st time i got a weave u there was like a hard bit right on the top of my head so u could tell it was a weave n my hair was braided round my head n i wanna avoid a funny bit at the top so i also can where my hair in high pony n so yea wat do u reccomend?

  • Good video. I was diggin' the music. It had me all punped up. :D

  • Love the video girl, I sew-in some hair for my mom off of your video alone and I've never done it before and it turned out perfect!! Thanks

  • You're welcome. Glad we could help.

    ~L.37~

  • hallelujah!!let's hav a little church

  • How long you been doing sew-ins and are you working at a salon? I really like your work keep up the good work.

  • Thank you so much! And braiding straight back is less time consuming, but other than that I don't see a difference.

    ~L.37~

  • One question... is there anyway to braid your hair underneathe so that when you wear your weave you can were it in a high ponytail? I'm on the go alot and sometimes I just like to wear it up.

  • I mean, you can braid all your hair and leave just a little hair out on the sides all around your head. This is what I normally do, but some people braid all of their hair and wear a headband or something to cover up the braid.

  • Both needle and thread comes from the beauty supply. Yarn is way too thick.

    ~L.37~

  • so r u threadn with yard out of the crate store n where do u purchase the needle

  • thank you sooo !! much ok so what did you do at the end when u got the thread???

  • THIS WAS A GOOD VIDEO

    JOB WELL DONE

  • i TH0UGHT U WERE SUPP0SED T0 BRAiD WiTH FAKE HAiR

  • You don't have to. It is optional. My hair is thick enough without it. Normally I just use weave to do the perImeter braid.

    ~L.37~

  • I read that using added hair when braiding takes away from the stress and tension that's placed on your own hair...basically so your natural hair doesn't have to be pulled and strained as much

  • wow i did my own sew in once and i braided it straight back and on the sides down and around...girl let me tell u my hair was very foolish

  • LOL

    ~L.37~

  • the music needs to go lol. but u did a good job with the hair

  • Nope. This is all the church that some folks get so... hey turn mute it and watch the video if you have to. LOL

  • Amen ... keep G.O.D. at all times. I love this music. I'm from the south ... this is a large part of our roots! What's the name of the song? I know the name of the group. Also, your braiding is so pretty and neat. I bet you have what we call "growing hands". (You're touch and care of hair promotes healthy growing hair. When your braids are removed, only natural shedding and new hair growth are the end results. Am I right?) Keep on keeping on. God bless you ... and don't worry 'bout the haters.

  • Are you connecting the hair as you braid around the head?

  • Yep!!

    ~L.37~

  • Comment removed

  • They are one of my favorite quartet groups. I used a bag and a half.

  • She did them sooo even!!

  • i dunno about the music selection but she did a good job on your hair.

  • The video is about sewing in hair not on the music so just turn it down and watch the video if you like.

  • its a good video but i wish the camera was in the back more so i could see her finish the braids

  • Your welcome.

  • wait.. what is she sewing??

  • She sowed the last braid to another braid so it can lay flat.

  • wow?this takes forever.

  • Only if you are doing it yourself. It took her about 30 minutes are so to braid my hair.

  • shes good at the hair things,,thanx ive learned alot from this video

  • Your Welcome. Glad it helped.

  • my brids are never that neat lol. i try but i am better when the go up and down versus circular

  • Yeah that a lot easier and a lot faster

  • I learned so much from this video! thanks
