Adult Genome seems to be young like Kamina here, while on the flashback of Genome's days as a Spiral warrior in one of the episodes, he looked the same as current Genome.

In truth, there's no telling the universe still won't lead to Spiral Nemesis. The exact same thing happened later on a smaller scale (short of there being a Tengen Toppa Lazengann) and the Antispirals got defeated because Simon didn't give a fuck.

I really have to give props to the humans in this series. They survived a first eradication at the hands of the Anti-Spirals, repopulated their race and build an army capable of resisting a second extinction cycle, pretty much defeated the Anti-Spiral army, when Lord Genome was shown the truth of the Spiral Nemesis and single-handily killed all his fellow Spiral Warriors, then attacked Earth for a third shot at extinction. Then TTGL happened, and they survived a fourth round. That's just badass.
