Such a shame I can't find more on youtube about Alessandro Rinella. Think he's a wonderful singer. I love this duet, one of the best ever. What a shame there is not more popularity to this.

Ich bin der Sohn einer der Produzenten, also war ich von Anfang an bei der Entstehung dabei und das ist sehr schön die allmähliche Vollendung miterleben.
Es freut mich das der Song gut ankommt.

This song must be released! Beautiful, just beautiful. Mr. Rinella is absolutely masculine and Miss Agnew is the feminine beauty that she always is and will be. Huzzahs to both of them.

also es geht auf jeden fall um eine liebesgeschichte, "assenza" heisst abwesenheit, d.h. er sagt irgendwann auch: ich werde dich verlassen, um dich nie zu verlieren, aber wir werden fuer immer zusammen bleiben, eine liebe ohne zeit und alter...
ich hoffe, das hilft dir weiter! ich finde jedenfalls, dass beide eine sehr aussergewoehnliche stimme haben! :-)

I don't know when "L'assenza" will be available on iTunes. All I know is that the album containing the song hasn't been released yet; maybe this is the reason!
