This is adorable! I used to have a blind kitty myself, and he was remarkably adaptable. He was born outside by a feral mother who was killed while he was weaned. Although he was always an outdoor cat (he was distressed whenever we brought him in) he was always healthy. He'd follow me into the woods and climb trees, and he'd play with our other cat who was also outdoors. He memorized the yard and driveway, and he got mad if we moved a car. Our other cat acted as a seeing-eye-friend. So cute!

hi there, greetings fr Malaysia! My niece in NY sent me the link to this video, knowing how my husband&I love cats ourselves -- we have 3 furboys, all were once strays, aged 9-6 yrs old. We both are currently on our 5th day working trip in Europe with 8 more days to go...and we miss our furboys!! Looking at Oskar reminds me that i HAVE seen his video before -- and i was right, i saw the one that he played with the ball when he was a kitty! he's so big now! :-) May God bless you for such love!

Your videos are brilliant. I have a blind cat - Percy who is now 3 years old and I have had him since he was 3 months old. Percy like Oskar can navigate perfectly, insists on being in which ever room I am in and makes great use of the garden (now proofed to prevent him from escaping). Since having Percy I no longer have any spiders or anything that dare fly in!

Oh my goodness! Stop being so hateful about this video! These people did a wonderful thing in adopting these two felines! Most people certainly wouldn't be as caring or patient with a cat with a disability. In fact, people return cats to the shelter just because they are unwanted. This is a cute video about Oskar and Klaus and deserves only warm and positive comments. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. No one likes a hater!

@asilverfoxlaughs I appreciate your words here. When you look at it, I have 10 videos of Oskar -- that's not overkill, and they are not being forced upon anyone. We are still amazed at how popular he became (and some Oskar fans do want to see more of him every day) but I would post them on YouTube even if they received 20 views each. My wife and I have family scattered all over the world and this is our way of sharing our life with Oskar & Klaus with them. Take care!

With our female cats....well, that was another story, but it was nessecairy because they can walk around the house at daytime .Its a paradise four our cats.

I would worry about a neighbor's dog bounding out one of those doors. I hope that you have some kind of defensive item with you or some kind of plan of escape for your kitties should that happen. Otherwise, it is quite wonderful that your cats get to enjoy their daily walks.
