  • @hpeter59

Thank you. It is a beautiful song

  • This was pure music to my ears! I loved it. You could play for me anytime.

    BRAVO!

  • @Stipeybabe

    Thank you!

  • Not just beautifully played, but so true and pure to the original! I needed someone skilled to play this for me (without the usual blues harp improv), now I can finally practice properly. Thanks a bunch.

  • Excellent sound.....well played. Most enjoyable indeed!

    Thanks for sharing.

  • 1000 note, please pass it on tabs

    thanks

  • What hole are you using to produce the bend on the word EAS "Y"??

I can't seem to find that note on any bend or draw.

Do you begin the song with the 6 draw?

    Thanks

    Don

  • @EVERYDAYDON 4 draw - 3 draw bend on a G harp. Yes I begin with that

  • @HakanEhn Great playing man. Just getting started myself. Do you have the tabs for this song? Or can I look them up anywhere?

    Thanks

    Heinz

  • @Thundance

Thank you Heinz! No I don't have tabs. I don't know if harptabs.com still exists. But you can always google searc "harmonica tabs".

    Johnny(B Good)

  • Very nice ! Beautiful version to this tune ! Congratulations ! What a sound and vibrato !

  • Thanks! I tried to follow a CD with Gershwin´s opera Porgy & Bess and she sang even slower. She really had a vibrato!!

  • Hi hakan its wonderful playing i always enjoy your blow thanks for sharing

    Ashok

  • Thank you very much Ashok

    Hakan

  • pretty nice playing Hakan, Is possible play overdraws on an out of the box harmonica? or that Seydel 1847 has this property?

    Juan

  • Thank you Juan,

Overblow/draw is relatively new to me so i don´t feel too comfortable with that technique. Which means i can never use out of the box harps, I always have to work the harp according to Adam Gussow´s excellent video about overblow.

  • So, you say that the Seydel harmonica 1847 works pretty well with overblows and overdraws!

Wow, I would like to have a seydel 1847 because I'm not able to play overdraws with an out of the box harmonica but overblows yes I could. by the way, Jason Ricci said in one video that the best out of the box harmonica to play overblow/draws is the suzuki firebreath!

  • I don´t know which harp is easiest, but yes I have one suzuki firebreath and I could play overblow in holes 5-6 from out box the box harp (but not overdraws). However when I followed Gussow´s instructions it was even possible to play overblow on Lee Oskar harps.

  • Verrrrrrrrrrry nice rendition !

I heard practically no transition between regular notes and overblows.

It's some over blows on the higher notes , isn't ?

    Five thousands stars !

  • Thanks! I use overdraw in hole 9 and 10.

  • very nice playing Hakan.

    Friendly :

    Steph.

  • Thank you Steph

    Hakan
