Nice tortoise! Sulcata's are beautiful. Lol, this is kinda funny because it sees the grass and it's like CHOMP ooo more grass CHOMP CHOMP. Poor grass never had a chance.....

do u no da the differents between a russian tortoise and a sulcata tortoise? i am going to bye 1 and they r both sooo cute but i need to no da differents so i can get the 1 that suits me best so can u please please help me!!!!

a sulcata is active and will become so big when it grows up, but a russian is quiet and just normal size.

both are quite active, but sulcatas get up to 200 lbs...russians stay small (less than 10 lbs). they both dig...but sulcatas dig holes up to 30 ft deep. russians hibernate, sulcatas don't. best you start with a russian!

A sulcata can grow to around 150 pounds depending on gender.

Russians don't get big.

I recommend the Russian if you are a first time tortoise owner. You need to do research. Even google could have answered this for you.
