Piledriver: The Wrestling Album II is by far probably my most favorite Wrestling Album of all the times.. Well along side of Macho Man's classic Rap Album that is.
The best part of this video was that it was released BEFORE the Million Dollar Man tried to buy the Championship storyline aired. As a kid, I knew something was up.
@wookieneo he was in a very successful band beore he was in wrestling i think they even knocked the beatles off of the #1 spot in the charts at some point
I guess I'm getting old, I look at this video and I grin from ear to ear, while I'm sure it comes across as unbelievably cheesy compared to Attitude Era or even the PG era. I guess I'm living in the past and I'm okay with that.
HOLY FUCK-WHAT DID I JUST WATCH? THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!! JYDOGG AND THE BULLDOGS. LOTS OF DEAD WRESTLERS IN THERE. THANKS FOR THE GREAT TIMES R.I.P.
Nice to see Barry Horowitz getting some screentime in this when he was a nothing job guy. Also maybe one other jobber on the heel side, blonde guy with a mullet. Not sure who that is. It's not Dan Spivey is it? Also an early Ultimate Warrior.
Favorite wrestling clips in this ever since I was a kid was Koko's top rope dropkick where he drills the jobber in this face and Koko and the Rougeaus' triple dropkick.
WWF/WWE has always been up with the times and able to understand the youth of the nations music tastes, through out the ages theyve had awesome rocks songs that defy logic and break the bounds of sense yet leave the listner stunned and with no choice other than to tune in and buy the hot records they bring out
Holy crap, Frankie is BLUE at the end of the fuckin' video. Did they forget that he was green, and that when using a green screen, he'd blend in? Holy fuck, lol.
Back when the majesty of wrestling itself was so great, it was often captured in song!!! The best you have now is John Cena rapping about himself. You tell me which is better.
At 0:39 who is supposed to be singing until then it was mainly heel managers, was it supposed to be Volkoff the heel wrestler or Humperdink the Face manager
Also who are the guys at 2:26 in front of warrior, I think one might be Patera but I have no idea who the other is and I am usually good at this.
something about this seems like it could be sexual to me. "if you only knew what i'm gonna do to you..." for all i know, children were conceived to this song! lol!
ye danny spivey was WWF for a while, he once punched Adrian adonis, knocked him out and continued to beat the crap outta him, adonis would rip spivey saying how young he was etc, along those lines anyway, but Spivey had been boxing for years and Adonis had no chance, but i believe after the ass whoopin adonis never bothered Spivey agen
I wish 1985 would start all over again. These were the best times of the WWF. I really like Billy Jack Haynes. You all should order his Conspiracy Theory DVD from the internet. You wanna talk about an outspoken critic on Vince Mcmahon, watch that. It scared the crap out of me when I saw it.
Its' not the same no more; ever since McMahon became the bad guy in early 2000s; then hated the show stuff in Vegas on his birthday that DX through for him. I mean show girls and singing - thats what brings WWF fans to life. These where the good old days of WWE. Especially, Hogan, Bret Hart, Roddy Pipper, Mean Geane, comon.
Why must eveyone say suck an idiotic thing like that? As kids we didn't care what it meant! As longs as we saw our heroes and villians in this, we were happy. So fuck up you're taking the prestigiousness from this video.
Yes it is but from the information that I've found he was gone from TV in april 1987 - after his partner Mike Rutundo left WWF - and did only house shows as a heel until he left too in early 1988.
@Dotheoz1 Dan Spivey came back the WWF/E in 1995 and reinvented himself as Waylon Mercy, a gimmick loosely based on the Max Cady character from 1991 remake film of Cape Fear to where his catch phrase "Lives are going to be in Waylon Mercy's hands. You know what I mean?"
