So here we go with the start of the PL...3 wins out of 3 and top of the table...beating West Brom 2-1, Tottenham 3-0, and Arsenal 8-2...yes, 8-2...unbelievable, isn't it...things so far look healthy heading into the international break...I'm confident that we'll retain our PL crown...and whatever City can do, we can do better.
So we've had a completely umblemished record in preseason...winning all our 6 games...and on Sunday, our youngsters turned the Commmunity Shield in our favour after City were leading 2-0 at half time...undeservedely...but we won 3-2 thanks 2 goals from Nani (2) and Smalling...I hope our good form continues into the start of the PL...as we look to defend our trophy and win no. 20.
Both the 1st team and the reserves have got off to good starts in pre-season...Our first-teamers have won all their games in the USA tour...while today I saw the reserves thrash Spartans 7-1...good performance...Cole and Lingard (who got a hatty) were excellent...Future United stars maybe?...and I wish both teams the best of luck when the season begins in August...hoping that the first team will win a 20th title.
